Waited 15 mins in a queue to find out that HSM sing it for the wii was only reduced by 10% then another 5 min to be told the couldnt find it:mad: .
Everything was the price as it was all week no new reductions. I agree plot just o get people in the store.
By the way if you do go take your own carrier bags as they had none left to give to customers.
Quite suprised as the shop did have quite alot left.0 -

Ditto! I was in MFI the weekend it closed there was guy in there having a right old go at a member of staff over a bathroom suite and whether they would still be open for him to get it. I had to say something, so I said don't take it our on him how would he feel if his job was redundant before xmas and if he is that bothered take it now or take the risk its his own choice!! what an !!!, he really wound me up that day!!!
SO THINK OF THE STAFF DONT HAVE A GO AT THEM, MOST OF THE TIME THEY CANT DO NOTHING AND DONT KNOW WHATS HAPPENING EITHER!!!0 -
Thanks, extonjoe - I'm in Maidstone too, and was thinking of taking a wander into town later to see if there's anything worth having in Woolworths, but I won't bother now0

I did manage to get some Disney Cars room stickarounds which were over 90% off! Were £10, reduced to £1 then 20% off so ended up being 80p! Was a bit disappointed that the Thomas ones were still £10 - have been waiting for those to drop for my 2 yr old's room.
As for the rest - rubbish! Can get most cheaper in other high st stores, let alone online. Especially the chocs - why save 10% in woolies when the supermarkets are doing half price or BOGOF? If woolies really need to get money in the tills then they are going the wrong way about it0 -
Waste of time. Don't bother.0

Discounts not major yet. However, I did come across a couple of things I wanted a pressies anyway. The first was the big playdoh boxset. I've been looking for a while and it always seemed out of stock. But lo and behold they appeared today on a high shelf. Unfortunately I was walking so I damaged the cardboard box it was in on the way home. But the plan is to get a plastic box for the bits anyway.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move
Lily contracted Strep B Meningitis Dec 2006  Now seemingly a normal little monster.
Love to my two angels that I will never forget.0 -
Was planning in heading to the Edinburgh shop today at some point but don't think I'll bother. Thanks for the heads up about it!0
