Woolies - closing down sale tomorrow (11/12/08)

I popped in to my local store today and bought a few Christmas decorations marked as £1 each. With 30% off, this made then 70p. When I got them home and peeled of the £1 price labels, there were other price stickers underneath saying 50p!!!!
So yes, the 'sale' wasn't such a bargain for me in this particular case!
This could be your claim to fame as you might very well be the last person ever to get ripped off in Woolworths!0 -

A bit like Primark then.0 -
Ha, should have known - 75% off is really pushing it!!! lol .
As for the ' no signs saying 50% off all stock' I was going on a previous post to this thread stating that posters were now saying 50% off all stock.

The signs currently say ""upto"" 50% off! Which doesn't mean everything, wtp is on a wind up.
It'll still be the same tomorrow, maybe there will be a few xtra % off some old rubbish, but nothing great0 -
Even with 50% off Wilkos/Asda are still cheaper on most items.0
