The best bargains are going to be in the last few hours before the shut the doors for the final time, probably just after Christmas, they'll be giving it away for penny's.I've given up trying to get my signature to work with the new rules, if nobody knows what the rules are what hope do we have?0

Anything worth buying will have been bought already. Just the tat left and the stuff the administrators can liquidate for a decent price in bulk, so not much of a reduction.I've given up trying to get my signature to work with the new rules, if nobody knows what the rules are what hope do we have?0 -

Think of what you want then check the price before you go in.To be honest I have never found anything cheap in there, sale or no sale.0 -
The signs currently say ""upto"" 50% off! Which doesn't mean everything, wtp is on a wind up.
It'll still be the same tomorrow, maybe there will be a few xtra % off some old rubbish, but nothing great
What you have to remember is Deloitte only issued the press release about 6 hours ago... This does not leave any time for Woolies' marketing department to design a new set of sales POS for their front windows, let alone get thousands of them printed and distributed around all of their stores.
What you will probably see is some hand made boards or posters saying "Extra 25/50% off of all marked prices". It's highly unlikely that they'll be paying staff to change all of the prices on items tonight. They'll just deduct an extra set percentage at the tills i'd imagine.
So, if you look at it, a CD costs say a tenner. 20% off at the last sale price, so it came down to £8. I'd be surprised if they went for huge price cuts on the first morning (Hope i'm wrong) so you'll probably be looking at an extra 25% off the marked price. £8 - 25% = £6. They will probably save the huge discounts until there is just tat and dust left on the shelves. Deloitte are not a stupid company, they know there's still money to be made.
So, take your calculators to double check you are actually getting a bargain.
I'll be there anyway, still got christmas shopping to do for the kids...In urgent need of a large lottery win...0 -
Are they still doing refunds? If so, I might take a few presents back I bought the other day and try and buy them back for next to nout.I've given up trying to get my signature to work with the new rules, if nobody knows what the rules are what hope do we have?0

What time will they open?
There must be a Woolys employee on here who has been briefed for opening?0 -

I work for Woollies
I have been told we are opening slightly later, usually 8.30 as we are having a staff meeting about our redundancy payments. Can't speak for other stores.
By the way anything really worth having has already been bought by the staff e.g sat navs 30 quid.0
