I just love the word snerk....I must use it somewhere....

Ah *snerk* the sound you make when laughing and drinking at the same time! :D

Don't know how to deal with the boss, the problem with weak and afraid people is that they can turn very nasty if cornered! He'll say I'm only doing my job by protecting the company....I can hear him now. It's not just my team it's all the teams that make up the greater team, five of us altogether. We'll all have to sacrifice something to save him. The complete injustice of it makes me spit with rage. As I've told you before, I'm a bit of a feisty number and really need to think before I open my mouth, really don't want to make it easy for him.

    darn darn darn

Oh boy do I know this situation! I wish there was some way I could help

Yes, I'm good at that too. Plan to err on the side of say as little as possible. It's probably going to get quite heated

    daily update

Yesterday's meeting was a bit of a non event really. The boss had no idea of what it was we were supposed to be doing. It took three of us to break it down into man sized chunks for him to get it!! Basically, the work your team does has to be categorised into
    • essential - the company goes to prison if you don't do these bits
    • brings in revenue - self explanatory
    • added value and competitor advantage - brings in lots of revenue
I think Dragon was looking after me, as unexpectedly I was temporarily granted the gift of oral management gobbledegook and managed to make nearly everything sound business critical! - This must have come from Dragon as she was giving excellent advice yesterday. Mentally she turned off my b*llsh*tometer - Hurrah for Dragon....:j

Now I have to fill in some gratuitously large excel form with management b*llsh*t by tomorrow - deep joy...I have to do this as I am the only female on the team...

My lodger paid their rent last night. I am going to pay £100 off the A&L card and put £150 into the car fund, as you know the car is elderly and only passed it's MOT with an almighty push last October. The garage says it will need a fair bit of work next MOT, so best I get a small fund together for it.

Still no contact from exex, he's definitely going to be exexexpermanent. Can't be doing with this.

Will update more as I remember what else I need to do!
