Mainly domestics today. I've done a fair bit of housework, ran out of steam when it came to polishing, maybe tomorrow...
I've just used up loads of dried apricots and almonds in a huge tray of flapjacks, hopefully, that'll do for the week's breakfasts along with a daily yogurt. Also made three butternut squash, spinach and marscapone lasagnes. One for tonight and two for the freezer! Just about to use up the rest of the vegetables in a soup, and that'll do a couple of lunches as well.
Incidentally, the wallpaper stripper worked a treat on defrosting the freezer! Yes, I did it.....:ATotal debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

I managed to keep the weekly shop to £27 today and in Tesco, so more money saved. This meal planning lark is working! Did forget the oats for making hobnobs, but the lodger is picking them up for me tomorrow. Also topped up the fuel in the car as it's still double points at the moment.
Spent £35 at the saddlery on essentials for the Captain, his old git vitamins, [STRIKE]bribery treats[/STRIKE] treats for excellent behaviour and worming stuff. All budgeted for, but a shocking price, nevertheless....Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

The shiny new page in the spreadsheet is now created, inventively called jan-feb09! Already the direct debits are pouring out the accountBut another £263.06 has come off the grand total for the credit cards :T
The first payment without ppi on my loan has been paid, another £25 that can go against the A&L card, I'll send that on it's way later today or tomorrow. I'm hoping to have paid a larger chunk off it this month, an extra couple of hundred would be nice....Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30
