    Hi Piq,

I too have been reading daily, Sorry your jobs causing you issues at the mo, Lunch sounds fantatstic though, lunch with a younger man.... am hoping for a good story later :)

It definitely sounds right about the exex, I think I might have had a similar experience, I feel now like my head was played with, he was my best friend and sometimes we were lovers, sometimes together sometimes with other people, he would tell me he wanted us to get married and I was everything he wanted then he'd do an about turn, round and round and round again until I was dizzy, this went on for 9 years in total. Finally I told him that when he was in my life I always ended up feeling sad and whenever he went I was good and then he'd appear back and it would start all over again, I didn't want that anymore so I told him, it was one of the hardest things I've ever done, but one of the best, there were times he made me feel amazing but many where he didn't...

you deserve to feel loved, wanted and important all the time :D

    Sorry for the ramble :o

Don't be sorry for the ramble! It's quite eerie how close that is to my situation. I've found it so hard to articulate how I feel and yet you've managed it for me in a paragraph. Thank you

...okay his name is Daniel and this is not going anywhere!! So don't get your hopes up please. He's fifteen years younger than me :eek: Must be a Mrs Robinson thing...

He was really sweet and a real gentleman, held the door and chair for me! (not at the same time either) I had pasta in tomato sauce and managed not to spill it down myself for a change  I remembered at the last minute not to order spagetti, it's not really a public sport, is it?
