.....I can't move him away as he was born there and has his own herd..........
............The instructor, I felt, covered his surprise at the arrival of the piebald hairy monster. Don't forget, he was expecting a huge thoroughbred bay horse
..............You don't see many of the Captain's sort in the high end of dressage, I suppose they're not considered elegant or agile enough!

You know he's not a cow, now behave - where's the strict looking emoticon??
Some equine events are a little snobby and like the posh breeds, I'm afraid the Captain is anything but....however, he does have six mares all of his own in his herd!Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

I've always liked the idea of being a Mrs Robinson (plus I love the song!) doubtful I will be one now though, what with the wedding and all! :rotfl:
It doesn't matter that it is not going anywhere, the point is you had a lovely lunch with someone who could become a friend, rather than sitting about feeling miserable. Very proud of you! xxx
You can do the Mrs Robinson thing later, and it's not essential that you sing your own theme tuneIt'll give you something to look forward to....

Hey Piq ~ have been reading (and laughing :rotfl: ) your diary still. Sorry your job seems unsettled at the moment, I know a few people that are facing losing their jobs
. Hope you're not one of them.
Loving all the horse stories, makes me miss riding but I just can't afford to do it at the moment. Have recently got back in touch with an friend on FB, she has a black horse called Diamond. She'd try to kill you in the stable, try to take a chunk out of your arm as you walked past but as soon as you were on her, she'd turn into the sweetest horse. She'd try to please so much. She's getting on a bit now, bless her but am going to visit her soon.
