  • Afternoon all, on this really miserable grey rainy day.

Hypno - you sound much better today, that list has worn me out just reading it.

Taxi - you will feel good at the end of the mse journey, I've a long way to go with no lump sums on the way, but every little helps as Mr T would say!!

Well, it was a productive morning, took 3 hours to fully clean and tidy DS's room, even found the floor - he now has pink tinsel on his punch bag :rotfl:

Now collapsed in a heap with :coffee: and a good book. Now where did I hide that list.................................

And pink tinsel on a punchbag - just fantastic!!!

I have just one one review on dooyoo (can't remember how many I said I would do this weekend, but at least I have made a start) - all about working mums - a subject that I know a little about........!

Afternoon - glad you are feeling better today Hypno - so am I - I've done 2 1/2 hours teaching this morning and still have a voice !!!!!!!!!!!!!! :j :j

I went into Woollies yesterday - its was manic and there was not much stuff that you would want to buy but I had £15 of vouchers that needed using so got a CD Radio for the office at work. Some customers were being really rude to the assistants - totally un-called for in my opinion.

Love your lists hypno - we always sit down on New years day and pass a piece of paper around the table and each person writes one thing on it at a time that they want to achieve during the year - then on the following new years day we go through it and see how many we did achieve - really good way for the kids (and us) to focus on things. :T :T

Right - I suppose I'd better get on with some work - am working at a wedding tonight and have a hectic week ahead prior to going away.

Have a good rest of the weekend.

I am glad you are feeling better surfbabe. Hope the wedding tonight is good and not too stressful! You sound as though you have a busy week ahead of you!

I have got the presents out of the loft and am glad to say that there is not much left still to buy. I need something for DD - she is not going skiing, so is having a new phone (she normally gets my cast offs so has never had a new one!) and something for my FIL but other than that I am basically sorted. I also need a couple of birthday presents for nephews but am sure I can get things in the sale quite happily without spending too much.

So, all in all quite happy on the Christmas front......we are watching St Trinians so can wrap while we watch.

I wouldn't say no stress - I hate wrapping up! I am not particularly good at it, and would rather it was just all done for me.........!

Oh, thats more like me with the wrapping then - I tend to cave in and make everything look like its a Christmas cracker. It all sounded a bit idyllic! I shoulda known ....
