update at the end of day 1.....not too bad, but still a lot to do tomorrow. I have made a good start to the wrapping up, so that is a bit of a bonus. Still very tired though - i feel better than yesterday but am admitting to myself that I need more rest than I have been giving myself recently. Sadly with work being so mad, and the run up to Christmas etc, I am not able to get much rest until Christmas itself when I have 5 days off, and will make sure that at least some of that is spent in a very selfish manner........
Hope you are all having a good day xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

I have finally written some cards but have run out of stamps~ ooh well!!
I decided to finish the job, and get some stamps from the local shop so they can go in the post box opposite my house today - otherwise if I wait to go to the post office on Monday, I will probably forget and will never get round to sending them!
BUT the shop only had 1st class stamps, but in the interests of getting the job done, I paid the extra for 1st class. Not very MSE I know, but the alternative is that I forget to post them at all!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. I love wrapping! I spend ages making them all co-ordinate and get all obssessed about them all matching and mismatching gifts go under the kids tree. My tree is all blue and silver and only blue and silver gifts are aloud under it! This year I was super happy, I managed to find plain blue and plain silver gift wrap with silver and white ribbon to decorate them with. I hate writing Xmas cards, in fact I hate it that much that i haven't even bought them yet!0

Mine all has to be perfect too, which is why I get so stressed - My house is so un-perfect that my daughter reckons I have Christmas Tree OCD, because my pickiness on perfect only extends to the presents and the treeSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. No-one is allowed to help decorate MY tree, I do it all, and I love it. I have a system of how I hang everything. Last year OH tried to help taking it down and tangled my lights up to such an extent they had to be binned. I was not a happy bunny. The kids have their own tree to decorate and hang on the things they make at school. We also buy them a new special ornament for it each year too. By they are not allowed on mine, no, no, no. They woudn't match! Someone said my tree looks like it should be in a shop window, that made me happy!0
