Hey, I've still got a spot left on the Quidco bingo if you're shopping for gifts etc!

I forgot all about it Gemmz!

One of my jobs this weekend is to haul everything out of the cupboard and to see what will do for various nephews etc. Then I can start thinking about what I absolutely have to buy, and what I can manage without buying!

Storecupboard/freezer dinner tonight - we had between us:

    2 crispy pancakes
    4 eggs
2 remains of bags of oven chips
    peas
    2 oatcakes
    baked beans

so a bit of pot luck really what ended up on your plate, but no one went hungry! My freezer is almost bare so I will have to do some shopping sometime this week - am trying to eke it out til payday next friday but I suspect I will have to give in before then.

Basically, you have a team with a bingo card, when you get cash back from certain sites you get dabbed, then when you have 8 in a row you get £5 for the team, then you can start on your next card. Not a lot but all helps

OK, so here is the 2009 Aim list for the heading "House and Garden". I have realised these last few days that my de-cluttering did have an effect, and there IS less stuff, the problem lies solely in my lack of inclination to do all things housework style, and it is this that really needs to be addressed in order to have any chance of achieving the things on this list......

    Home
    • To blitz and clear the house late in 2008 or early in 2009.
    • To be more disciplined in the housework.
    • To do a load of washing each day, drying it and getting it put away – ironed if needed.
    • To plan menus to aid in grocery shopping and meal planning. To provide good food at reasonable times for everyone in the household.
    • To look at costs of updating cloakroom, en-suite, re-plastering lounge wall, and replacing fireplace.
    • To replace all windows.
    • To clean all guttering and fascia boards – or to pay someone to do this.
    • To finish off unfinished jobs in the house, eg wardrobe, kitchen windowsill tiling,
    • To decorate the childrens bedrooms and the students room.
    • To be able to sit in the conservatory in the mornings to enjoy quiet space.
    • To be able to eat at the dining table each day, if we choose.
    • Clear the garden, make it easily maintainable, and enjoy the space we have there.
    • Be in a position to have a cleaner.
