Sorry to hear that you're feeling a bit down and not very christmassy.I guess a lot of people are feeling the same at the moment.
Look at what you've achieved so far...loads and loads. This time next year you'll be near enough debt free. How goods that?

Morning Hypno, sorry to hear you are feeling a bit low this morning sending some virtual ((hugs)) whether you like them or not lol.

Paying the bonus off your loan must have been bitter sweet but you know it was the sensible option. Just think by next Christmas you will more than likely me able to use that bonus for something as your debts will be almost gone :T

Chin up and hope you don't have too much dashing about to do at the weekend.

Happy Belated birthday and sorry to hear you're feeling a bit deflated. Think how many people should be doing the same with their bonuses but are still suffering from ostrich syndrome. You're getting ahead and have your main goal in sight.

  • :rudolf: Ditto what the other's have said Hypno..and i reckon next year your bonus will be so big that you will be booking a nice Swiss Chalet, complete with cook, bottle wash and cleaner..just so you can celebrate being nearly or probably already being debt free..

Will join you on the hacking cough red nose bit though:rudolf: It's nice to share...:rotfl:

I haven't got my tree up either..is a job for the weekend.

Have a good Hols Shaun.:santa2: :xmassign:

    Oh Hypno,

You're so tough on yourself and so kind to everyone else! You've ensured your children have so much despite the problems with the house/debts. Even if you had no debts being able to give 2 kids so much would be an immense achievement to be proud of. But you've paid off £35 grand AS WELL! I would not be surprised if 2009 becomes your df year. No pressure!

Xmas, yeah that's this month sometime isn't it??

Have cards and stamps just need to write them. Have made cake but will forget to marzipan or ice it until xmas day/boxing day. Have ingredients for xmas puds, make 3 at a time and that's it for 3 years. Collecting DD from uni tonight and tree will be chosen at the weekend with the usual family heated discussion over which has the best shape. Cards usually posted on 22 December 2nd class but always get there. On target for traditional xmas chez V. :rotfl:

Love and merry ho-hos to all.

Congrats on the bonus and hasn't it just helped the totals? Wayhay missus.

Tiredness is still heavy - I think it is set in for the day now. Oh well, we all get days like this!

I went outside briefly to get some wrapping paper, in the hope that the cold air would wake me up, but to no avail! I have loads of work to do so was only out for a few mins which was not long enough really.......still, I will feel better I think, if I can go home for the weekend with a reasonably clear desk, so will crack on and see how much I can get done.........

Oh, and a kitkat chunky will surely make me feel better........:o
