Been to M0rrisons - did a big shop (last for the voucher...)

    came home

went back to M0rrisons to search for house keys in car park in the dark but with the torch I carry in my handbag...

DD found house keys and my trolley token which I had left in trolley...(well in mitigation AF is here)

Had phone call from friend who I will meet tomorrow and who has also not been having it good and guess what AF did...I was standing chatting on the phone - yuk!

As I am in I have not yet taken the 'transfen... acid' tablets...

And have arranged to go out tomorrow...

On a positive note however I have cooked mince and carrots for the bottom of 2 shepherds pies, made a huge pan of veggie chilli for me and am currently boiling spuds to mash for pie top and to feed DD...

My mum might be a good person to take actually - ex nurse and therefore knows what questions to ask... having said that when we (my sisters) and I have probs we usually wait until 'after' IYSWIM...cos she knows too much...

ETA Triker - know any Kenyons in Bolton?

Hugs from me to MOAM and lil_me - I'll be thinking of you.

I've had a chat on the phone with my brother who drove Dad to the hospital this evening. Mum is still in the acute admissions ward (where they leave you when they don't have a bed free on a ward), on an insulin drip. Cause of infection still unknown. Brother says she is conscious and not agitated, quite rested. Only saying a very few words though to Dad.

Thank you so much all of you for your support and good wishes.

Sarah, fingers crossed they have caught it early and he gets the treatment he needs asap, I know many children who've come through the other side of that awful thing and you wouldn't know if they didn't tell you.
Chunky, what a time of it for you honey, hope your friend is ok
serena thoughts are with you and your family, hope your Mam is ok. I think your sister was very sensible. I have been on a similar admissions ward and from what I remember it wasn't bad at all, more of a small 'overflow' ward, so hopefully she'll be getting the care she needs and they will find a bed for her soon.
Michelle I hope today went ok
soappie hope you enjoyed your extra time off. I didn't know about the moon.
((hugs)) Pollybear hope you feel better soon
Nicki hope it clears soon, I did that last night!
Moam hugs for your friend, you too, I hope your DS doesn't take it too badly.
jjef hope you have a great time
rach, we all need recoup time, you've been so busy and all that awful travelling there is no wonder you are exhausted. Envy you holding a little new life, special that is, very special x
chunky, hope your friend is ok and your Aunt is enjoying her special time with you all x
toots, it's amazing how much fruit can effect it, however sometimes my Dad just puts his down to 'it does that sometimes'. I tried kicking it, we had the same issues with it a few months back and DP fixed it but it did 'bite him' when he put his hand in so I don't know if he will or not this time.
Mudbath thinking of you, hope your recovery is going ok
mumoffour hope your DS1 is better soon
Pigpen if there is anything I might be able to help with with the 'issues' let me know, possibly contact whoever deals with the DDA in your area, he went for her partly because of his disability, discriminating against him because of things caused by his disability, thats a legal issue really. I found out this when DS1s last school excluded him from off site trips, parties etc.
AnW'sMum pleased your evening out went well

Thanks for all your support, for just reading my waffle I posted while crying in fact. The news of the little ones hurt the most I think, so precious is life, so quickly it can be taken away, I'd only seen the little 5 year old girls Mam 2 days before and she'd said they were discharging her daughter from hospital as she was ok, makes you appreciate what you have more when such young lives are lost.

M&S another item I reordered because it was back in stock is now out of stock again, starting to annoy me now, I should probably just bite the bullet and go to a shop :o but I don't like shops!

However nerdy it might seem I am going to watch RAF at 90 :) Sitting with three candles glowing for those I had the pleasure of knowing.
One day I might be more organised...........

Anyway in a nutshell, i don't think he knew what it is and gave me anti histameines(sp?)
