Serena - big hugs love - hope your Mum recovers quickly. I think your sister was right to say wait until the morning rather than have her hanging around corridors before being admitted to a ward.
Chunky - love and hugs -you're going through the mill right now - sending you and yours positive vibes
Lil-me - hugs to you too! And the parents of the children and your Dad and your cousin.
Rach - I'm not surprised the year is catching up with you. All that time spent commuting isn't pleasant - I know I've done it!

I think I will just go and count my blessings right now and sprinkle get well soon fairy dust around you all.

Is anyone else superstitious? Tonight, we have the 'largest' full moon since 1993. The moon is supposed to have an effect on our wellbeing. With so many ill people at the moment, one could almost believe there's something in it.

  • Sorry ladies to have been MIA - still feeling very groggy with this flu-thing.

Had bad news here too - a good friend has lost her husband unexpectedly. Shaken me I have to say, and still trying to work out how I tell my soft DS who loved this guy. Funeral on Monday and school friends have been great about helping out with DS as its a long round trip.

Had just about enough this year - can we start 2009 soon, please?

    Moam

Evening ladies just back from Judo runs

Chunky so sorry to hear your sad news sending you strength to support all those in need right now.

Serena hope your Mum has a comfortable night and there is an improvement tomorrow

Lil_me I cannot imagine what your poor friends must be going through hugs to all concerned.

I'm going to get the kids ready for bed and have an early night myself.
