Wow you had some bargins
my first CD writer was just that a CD writer, no re-write facility and a fast 2x speed which cost me £219.00. CD Discs were between £1.20 and £1.50 and the chance of a failed burn were so high it was depressingWelcome, rogerramjet.

I remember paying £2.50 for a cdr and £300 3 years ago for a Sony dru500a dvd writer 4X write but that wasnt normal then as most where x2 and it still works in my server I am using now.
I aint paying silly money any longer for hardware I wait until its more affordable even though I have waited years for Blue ray0 -
And you look so young, Pop.
, I remember when 20 meg hard drives were £1000, eek
Website has been changed to 110D, yet they have failed to change the model in the best seller list.
Has anyone been able to contact play.com, their returns seems to be automated, collection by Parcelpost which means staying in all day.

I remember sending back a faulty psp2 music game with microphone, Play only like to pay postage for return of DVD's so it tooks some persuading that it costs more for hardware than a dvd/cd.0

If you want a screen print and don't know how to do it click this link and Download: Pioneer DVR-110 DVD_CD.jpg.
Not sure I would buy from them with a value over £18.
I have just bought one of these without reading the whole thread,
rushed in as usual
Just checked the specs against the image that Britbrat provided and the new specs make no mention of Dvd ram writing, oh well, I suppose its still a good buy.Stopped smoking Jan 2007 after 23 years!Cigarettes NOT smoked = 240,945Smoke free days = 11 Years :TCash saved so far = £125,45,110 -
I nearly bought one too but waited and read thread. Guess you could argue and say you thought it was the other model and use my screen print.0
