I originally had a 'fine' from Excel parking and recently had my obligatory debt collectors letter. Now they have followed up with a solicitors letter from "Graham White Solicitors" as a "Notice of Intended Legal Action" - a requirement before legal proceedings are issued in a county court.
The original "fine" was for £100 which has now risen to £140.25, and the costs laid out in the letter will amount to a further £142.25 should claim be issued.
I'm sitting tight right now but the old sphincter is is trembling! Just to let other know that I know what your up against.
If there are any further developments , I'll let you know, but just in case, does anyone know a good lawyer????0 -

That's another strange thing about this company. On their website they boast:-
Our head office, based in Buckinghamshire (sic). We provides car parking control management services across the country. Our client base ranges from small residential car parks areas, to retail parks and large corporate sites. We operate from a fully manned and equipped head office, which services our client's requirements 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Except their only contact address is via PO box in Northampton which includes a post-code that seems not to exist.
The company itself is registered in London. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -

PO box post codes often do not exist as locations etc., they are unique to the PO box in many cases. Same with Freepost and Business reply post codes. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

Royal Mail are obliged to provide you [upon request] with the 'real' address behind a PO Box.0

Are they? I thought it took a court order etc to prise the info out of them, good news if you're right.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

If the address is listed as 'protected' it will indeed take an Order of the Court.0
