What if you're ginger, but bald??? What if you haven't got matching cuffs and muffs?? Can you still use the spaces?? Just because you're ginger doesn't mean it's obvious for everyone to see.

You woulds still smell of Fox P and twiglets so they would still know.

  • i would first like to thank everyone on this site for the helpfull advice :T
i had a ticket last week was going to pay up then found this site my tactics now are to ignore all letters
i was wondering if council owned and run car parks are the same rules as private ones
i got a ticket on private i was just wondering
  • Absolutely Not. All council ones are to be taken seriously as they have the weight of law behind them They can, eventually, involve real bailiffs. Not Good.
If you do get a council ticket then come here or on Pepipoo.com for assistance, of course you could pay if thats what you prefer but its not very MSE.
Regarding the privaate ticket, who was it from and where.

  • thank you i sent you pm with the where and who details i would rather not say on a public forum you never know whos reading
the ticket is definately not from the council its a private firm
it was issued in a small town center car park
there is only one notice where the pay meter is it says in big letters free for 30 mins but in small letters underneath it says must get free ticket
from where i was parked near the entrance i could only read the big print
i was only gone 10 mins and came back to a ticket
i thought it was wrong searched the net and found this place
i have taken photos of the lack of signage and the fact the only sign is far away from the entrance
my only concern now is if the council own the car park would this change anything
    thanks for your advice

Any council PCN will be headed with the council's name and mention the Road Traffic Act or Traffic Management Act
  • Thanks for the pm, follow Orfords advice. #Check if the ticket does mention the above, if not then its very likely to ok to ignore. If unsure pm the ticket to him or myself, we'll get it to others if necessary.

Please tell us who the private parking company is. We like to name and shame on this forum, and it means that adverse comments about them show up on Google.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?
  • Hi Guys, its another newby i am afraid. have read all these PPC threads with interest since i got nabbed a couple of months ago. Have just recieved the " 72 hours notice of home visit " letter !!
I know you veterans get a little miffed sometimes with people asking the same questions but really i think people are just after a little reassurance that they are doing the right things in ignoring these insects. So carry on with the advice as it really does stop people automatically paying these parasites.:T
  • Would'nt mind knowing if any of you have heard the likelyhood of a visit from these debt collectors ? I'm not all that bothered but my wife is a little worried about someone coming round when i am out.
