Don't confuse debt collectors with bailiffs. Debt collectors are just private citizens with no "special" powers. They cannot enter your premises, they cannot seize goods and they cannot blacken your credit record. If they do pay you a visit ask them to leave your property, if they refuse then call the police. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
To name and shame, my ticket was from Premier Parking Solutions and latest letters from CCS Collect. I fully intend to carry on ignoring, but something in me wants to fight and go to court. Really brings out the Braveheart in you - all this stuff !!0

A well known PPC who can safely be ignored. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

You know what really makes my blood boil? I was walking past the same car park the other day and saw a really old lady quite distressed at the ticket she had just recieved. i tryed to tell her about the things i know from reading this forum but i am sure she was so afraid that she will pay. We are possibly talking a week or twos pension for that poor old bird and i think it is diabolical that these scum can intimidate people and make a fortune in such an immoral and barely legal way !!0

I have read the articles on the forum re appealing against parking charge notices but am a bit nervous of ignoring. The vehicle is a company car so PCN has not been sent directly to me. I have been charged £75 for 28 mins at an Argos car park when max time was 15 but it took Argos this long to deal with me! Also I was not actually parked for that length of time as had to wait for space to be available. Does anyone think I have grounds to refuse to pay on the basis that the charge is unfair for 13 minutes?0

Ignore them and don't contact them. It's as simple as that. You have done nothing wrong. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -

I popped into my local supermarket on 27th dec, it is across the road from a large shopping complex and so gets used as an overflow carpark. Inevitably on this day the carpark was full. I was running late for an appointement and drove around a few times but eventually ,parked in a disabled parking spot. 15mins later when i returned- a ticket. there were plenty of other spaces left for disabled people and i was only 15mins, I cant believe a supermarket chain would do something like this. .
I was so angry that i emailed the head office of the supermarket so they will now know who i am .
advice please........ thanks in anticipation. x0 -

The answer is to ignore any correspondence from the parking company and do not contact them. Blue badge parking spaces have no legal standing in private car-parks. You have done nothing wrong and have not broken any laws. For more reassurance please read the other threads on this forum that deal with private parking companies. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0
