    You are free to search this forum and others for posts explaining why these "tickets" are in fact invoices. It is explained repeatedly on this and other websites.

    The fact it is an invoice does not mean it is not a "ticket" (which is an unoficial term to start with), What it is not is a fine.

    Under contract law, private firms can give you a ticket, clamp you or remove your vehicle when you break, in their eyes, a contract formed between yourself and the landowner to allow you to park on their property.

    Oh for goodness sake. The point was that the woman FROM MCDONALDS was calling them tickets! Very different from someone here calling them tickets because we're not trying to enforce them and scare people into paying them! Please go away now, I thought I was being ignored!
