hiya everyone I am new on here,
can anyone help I had a ticket the other week from UKPC, they police the tesco car park, cradley heath were I live.
the situation is on the day in question I was at a charity fund raising doing and my other half used my car an old merc E320 its a big old thing see went shopping at tesco's and the only space she found was between 2 cars and how they were parked made her go other the white line, and when she came out the other cars had gone and now she has a £40 ticket for not parking right but I own the car she does't.
I have sent off the two letter from this site which were great telling them that it was't me and I was't paying, now I have a 3rd letter say they don't care and still want there money, and state in these particular circumstances are neither unreasonable nor unjust so they will not be waiving this parking charge.
can anyone help, shall I just stop responding now
cheer

I just wondered, do the police know if you don't pay a parking charge. If they pulled you over, would they see that you have unpaid parking charges outstanding?0

are the rules the same in scotland as in england and wales for private parking tickets?0

Perhaps if more people sign this, http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/DVLA-Data/
something may get done. Don't build your hopes up though.

Hi - can anyone help me...
I received two parking tickets from Thurrock Moto Services (just off the M25).
The tickets are from a private firm and I wasn't in the car, my boyfriend was driving.
I used the letter templates given on the private parking tickets page.
I have now received a letter saying...
As I have shown no willingness to provide the details of the driver, they are unable to take the case out of my name. If I refuse to tell them the driver, they assume that me or the driver in question are systematically abusing car parking facilities and the charge remains active.
The company has a phone number but as far as I can work out it's an answer phone only, they don't have a fax number so I can't send my replies to them quickly and so far I have sent 4 letters and it's costing me in stamps every time.
Each letter they send me is a basic template - not even addressed to me, just Dear Madam.
I'm not planning on paying these tickets - I'm just not sure what to do next??? ANY IDEAS??
It's costing you a stamp? Put a bit of paper in an envelope with cheque enclosed written on the outside and post it.
WITH NO STAMP ON.
If a few hundred thousand people did this to them they may be out of business. Before any moral police have a go, they deserve it.0 -
Riiiiight.
I posted a week ago, saying how CP Plus Ltd. had sent a parking 'fine' to my home, asking for £80 (or £50 if paid earlier) for overstaying in a Moto services at Donnington. The registered keeper of the vehicle was not behind the wheel at the time and they say they have photographic proof (ANPR cameras). Unfortunately, we'd sent a letter to them telling them that the registered keeper wasn't behind the wheel at the time and we're not under any obligation to tell them who was, I didn't realise it'd be better to ignore it.
We received a letter today basically asking us to tell them who was behind the wheel within seven days so they can reissue the notice or 'the PCN will remain open in your name and be processed accordingly.'
I'm tempted to send the letter back with 'NO' written in a big marker pen across it, but will just ignore it for now. Anything else I can expect or anything to worry about?

I recently spoke to members of staff in Netto who had also received parking fines themselves, even the manager who refused to pay and then forked out £208 because he became frightened. It seems they are being told they have only recently found out they don't own the car park their supermarket is on! I have also visited another Netto near me and they too have put in these scammers so, in my personal opinion, I am sure that Netto are behind it all and not as innocent as they make out.
Personnally, I will not shop at Netto ever again, not even if I don't have a crust of bread while ever they have these people in their car parks ripping members of the public off and their shoppers.0 -
Apparently Martin Lewis took on 'Perky the PPC' on the radio the other day:
