  • I received a ticket charging me £60 for overstaying a 3 hr period at a retail park. I was not the driver that day but the person who was driving does have receipts from stores at that location as proof of them being a legitimate customer.
I worte to parking eye telling them i was not the driver and as such was not responsible for this charge. They have since written back twice asking for payment and on this last occasion I received a final demand now asking for £90 and threatening that if I do not pay the charge will then increase to £120 and they will make arrangements for a debt collection agency to recover the money.
I am somewhat alarmed at this and have now written back enclosing the receipts and asking them not to contact me again and informing them that i will make a complaint the the BPA.
Has anyone else had such and experience and what did they do?
    Thanks

    newbies!!
    please do not just add
    random new queries to this
    ancient thread - thankyou!

We will help you if you read the sticky threads by Crabman and then if you still want help to IGNORE your fake PCN from a private company, just start your own thread.

Here is the link to the board, stickies at the top - read the ones by CRABMAN please then 'start a new thread':

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=163

Then if you're still wobbling after seeing the Watchdog link and reading up on it, start a new topic.
We will all see it and help you individually to get you through the debt collector threats.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
