    How rude. Peter has 2 posts and you insult him.
    What a great way to treat new members and make them feel welcome.

    Rather than moan at people why don't you just ignore the thread.

    Without wanting to start a new thread ;
    I work at a council building and the rules are that you need to park in a clearly marked bay, have a valid parking pass displayed, stay in the “temporary bays” for 3 hours and leave for an hour before returning. Usual stuff.
    So my question is about getting a ticket for breaching those rules.
    I would assume that it’s the same as every other parking ticket, but my worry is that its council owned building, but the parking is run by BGS Services Ltd.
    It is a controlled carpark with a barrier that opens automatically after a swipe of am ID badge.

    People here are being charged £50-£100 for not showing their badge in the windscreen even though they have permission to park there.
    There is about 100 or so spaces for 350 staff tickets are being handed out like confetti and its getting beyond a joke.

    Any advice on the specifics of it being a barrier controlled carpark owned by the council would be great.

    If the tickets are from a private company and do not mention the TMA 2004, ignore.

    Yes I've had letter no. 8 from them too - and like you it's a repeat, as was letter no. 7.

    Ah well at least we're costing them paper, ink and postage. And the time of the person who has to stuff this rubbish in an envelope;)

    Yaaaaay Letter 9 is a repeat of letter 5. Only another couple then we go round again.
