What a lovely welcome to new members. Jeez.
And thats me gone from round here.
I cant see a problem with the same question being asked as this is important to people and everyone has different experience.
I will ask elsewhere.
BYE.
So sorry you took offence but I think you are missing the point, you are in the wrong place, that's all!
We have had to resort to HUGE lettering to try to get this STUPID thread to die a death or get closed by those who can. This thread is ancient and about something completely different - and we cannot understand why people keep adding to it. Posts here get missed as this thread is not for new cases.
We have no problem at all with the same question being asked, on new threads. Have a look at the current threads and you will see we patiently answer every single one and come here every single day to help people!
If you look at my posts above, I also provide the link to ask your questions on, which shows all the stickies and info we have. Please click the link as we just want to let people see the current parking board:

Has anyone actually asked a mod or board guide to close this? One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

I have recently been slapped with a private parking fine at an entertainment/leisure centre (restaurants/cinema) - £120 or £80 if paid within 7 days. I drove around the entire parking lot trying to find an empty space to which there was none, therefore I parked on a curb edge allowing enough space for cars to get around (I have done this previously before and many other cars do the same on numerous occasions). This entertainment centre has been like this for years and has never increased parking spaces. I am certain this centre has cctv.
The ticket states “If the costs are not received within this notice period you will be liable for any costs incurred through debt recovery and/or court enforcement”
“Vehicle keepers should be aware that their name and address may be requested from the DVLA”
Firstly, I don’t think I should pay due to the lack of car parking spaces available.
Secondly, I think the amount charged it extortionate!
Reading the guide advises to ignore the matter which I am happy to do, although I can’t really afford to pay court fees or debt recovery agents if it goes that far…
I would appreciate any ones thoughts on this…

Could you please start your own thread, as this one is for the general discussion of private parking tickets and it's getting too long. That way you will get more attention. Thanks. Help
I lived on a private estate and all of a sudden notices started appearing all around about parking. I received no plan of where you could or couldnt park and no body had been issued with permits. so on many ocassions residents returned to find somebody had parked in their one allocated space. I parked the company car one night and in the morning i noticed i had been issued with a ticket from a company called Ethical Parking Management (totally the opposite if you ask me) it was not parked on double yellow lines or causing any obstruction. I sent in an appeal via email and i called them about a month later as i had heard nothing, the lady on the end of the phone stated that it was with the appeals panel. I did move shortly after but set up a post office re direction. My company now have a debt recovery firm sending them letters which i have replied too stating i must now pay £140.00 or face legal action. What legal action can they take?0 -
