  • Hi All, Just received my first letter from a company called "Newlyn PLC" and they're demanding more than double of what "Civil Enforcement" were asking...How many more letters will i expect to receive from this company? and i guess that it's still the same with regards to ignoring these demands.

Take a look at this letter chain - Just scroll down the "Civil Enforcement Ltd."
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?
  • Many thanx....looks like i've still got a few more letters to receive from Newlyn plc.
  • Unfortunately, I've already 'appealled' against my private parking ticket. Now I've read these comments I'm kicking myself! Now they want double the original payment. What can I do now, if anything?

Do nothing. File the letters you receive and ignore them.

From now on you ignore them, and you do not contact them. It's as simple as that!

  • Thanks for the advice guys. I was worried as I admitted being the driver. Gonna hold out against these crooks.
  • I parked at a trading estate called at boots for medicine, came back to the car and had penalty charge on screen. The copy had no ticks legible in the boxes and very little was readable therfore, did not know what i had done. went back to boots as did not know not understand anything of this company on a trading estate,. they said their staff had been caught, I rung ukcps said i was over bay on white line as had photo, the car park has washed out lines and many not there at all. I appealled on the illegible ticket, said over two bays and can cause obstruction. The car park is huge and only handfull cars at time i do not recall being so far out of bay and no evidence. what do i do? pay or hope i dont go to court

You do what is advised to every other person in your position.

You ignore it and do not contact the company in any way.
