Thanks for that Mike.
Do you think it depends on where you live ?

Well if it is spreading out from there - I guess I'll lose my connection soon - !!!
These problems often are local - have you asked BT to test the line - always worth a go.
I guess you have tried rebooting etc. and checking that you have no (suddenly) faulty phones or devices on your line ?To infinity and beyond!0 -
Has anyone had any luck getting a refund for E7even from Barclaycard against Section 75? It has been 6 weeks now since I sent my initial letter, I sent another 2 weeks ago by recorded delivery & I have heard diddly squat. It is very frustrating because not only did I wait since January for E7even to refund me but now I am waiting even more time for Barclaycard to get off their backside. I put in a partial claim of £140 for the time remaining on my E7even contract.0

We are back up now.
You were right Mike, it was a local BT problem and all the broadband suppliers in the local area were down. Someone had cut through a cable while doing some roadworks. So this time it wasn't e7.
Roses, I am sticking it out at the moment, using up the free time they gave. I was offered 2 months, but given 4, so will wait and see what happens when this ends. I am on the bbuk ream which I believe is pretty imposible to get away from as they do not issue mac codes. It is pretty slow, but usually stable enough at the moment.True Friends Are Hard To Find, Harder To Leave And Impossible To Forget.0 -
Had a call from my credit card company yesterday, who are following up my complaint against e7even. I told them i'd received a mac code and the offer of a refund when I'm connected to a new isp. They will ring back in one month to see how I'm progressing. meanwhile BT have notified me i will be leaving them on the 26th may. Called into carphone warehouse and put the info that I had given the mac code to talktalk when I registered with them on the phone, they said "allow the mac to expire and wait for tt to contact you with a given connection date, then request a new mac". 58 days now without the net !!!This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I am on the 'e7broadband' domain and tend to be able to get a connection (eventually) which tends to stay up for an indeterminate amount of time before having to reconnect but, the thing that I’m wondering is if anyone else is suffering is a similar problem…………..
After booting my router (and finding that website’s don’t load – virtually every time) the only way I’ve found of getting a connection is by pinging E7even (83.151.206.214) as this usually always works (if that’s not a contradiction), I then try pinging google (216.239.57.104) and then after a few successful ping’s I’ll ping the websites itself (either https://www.google.co.uk, or https://www.bbc.co.uk) this usually works. As an alternative just type the IP addresses into the ‘address’ bar on your browser and when you get a successful load type the actual website address (www. Etc) and then I can quite happily roam around the www (albeit slowly).
Its almost as if there is a DNS problem, or something. Anyone else with any similar experiences???

Im on the same e7broadband and having no problems or have not had any for ages (touchs wood frantically )
Which is a sign things will now go wrong - I did loose connection a couple of weeks ago for a few hours but nothing major
How you get it resolved - a while back (see this thread ) e7 where answering phone calls on the 0870 number so if your still having problems give them a callThanks to everyone who posts comps :T0 -
still nothing on the refund front. Sent letters and heard nothing. Think it might be time to get hsbc involved.0

On the 76th day without a connection via e7even I remain waiting for talktalk. We have their free phonecalls now, but the broadband is not due until mid July. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
