    Morning everyone,

Sorry to hear about your granny Tiger888.
Hugs to everyone who's under the weather too.

I managed to start my tidying and cleaning yesterday, but that was about it. I was in bed by 7pm last night with nausia(sp?) and booming headache. Wouldn't care but i've been off work for 10days with flu and bad back already and today is my first day back - its not looking too good! I just cant seem to shake it, but cant afford any more time off work so will just have to grin and bare it.

    Anyhoo to todays tasks....
Get hair cut - hopefully my hairdresser wont cancel AGAIN

Finish wrapping presents remaining presents before i go to work, would do them after but not sure what time i'm due to finish till i get there. Hoping its half 8 and not 10pm. Fingers crossed.

Get rota from work - hopefully they have given me the correct days hol. I've got family coming to visit on boxing day and my OH is best man on Sat! Would normally work boxing day but requested it as a day off months ago. Just panicking now as i've been off poorly that they wont let me take required days off. Hope they do.

    Continue with tidying/de-cluttering and cleaning.

    Anything else that i've forgotten:o

There just arent enough hrs in the day!!!

Right best get cracking. Have a good day everyone

  • Jamtart - congrats on the house, great news, when will you be moving?

Tigger888 - sorry to hear about your granny, that's awful news.

Poorly People - sorry to hear so many of you are poorly, sounds like there are some awful bugs going around. Fingers crossed none of us get any more at least until Christmas is over.

PLM - we miss you, hope you and your family are all well soon.

Well, I'm nearly there - delivered last card and present over the weekend, other than what's coming with us on Christmas Eve when we start our Christmas visiting. Just hoping the car will make it.

Need to go to M&S and stock up on a few bits for home (got a voucher to use!), hopefully will do that today or tomorrow at the latest. I finish work tomorrow lunch time - yayyyyy.

  • Morning everyone, big:grouphug: to all & their families who are suffering with illnessess, bugs etc & to those who are working up to & over Xmas.
After a bombastically busy weekend, today me & DS are chilling. House still looks like a bombsite so todays chores to do are:
    1. get turkey & beef out of the freezer (the plan is to cook most stuff on Xmas Eve)
    2. general tidy all around(if possible with kitchen units spread all around the house!)
    3. vacuum everywhere
    4. loads of laundry it's a nice day here, so going on the washing line
    5. change beds
    6. get presents out of loft to distribute
    7. drinks lots and lots of coffee:D
My pledge for today is to do all of the above & stop sneezing.

  • :hello: I'm still here, just been too exhausted to do much more than move the mouse at the end of the day - & now I have a trapped nerve in my back, FUN!

I have found a down side to being organised, people confuse it with having free time! My mom knows I'm scanning all her slides for her christmas present (she doesnt realise she's getting a few extras linked with photos), she's found a few more out (about 100) & says I have time, lol. Then my younger brother rang to say he's popping a couple of photos over he wants scanning, cropping & editing slightly. Thankfully DD1 has put it upon himself to look after me today so he's planning on scanning the slides for me, he's also just brought me a coffee, bless him.

MILs annual visit tomorrow, so I'm going to tidy & clean as much as my back will allow me today. Also baking a few treats to dish up tomorrow & have a few pressies to wrap.

Not long now, ooooo, all excited here :D :j :j :j

    Hugs to all

hi Everyone! I love this idea and I can't wait to get home and find a small, handbag sized, notepad to carry around with me! I think I shall do this for all birthdays and for Christmas next year too.

DH and I managed to do quite well for Christmas this year. We used quite a few vouchers to make purchases, so our total 'hard cash' spend this year has been only about £30 to £35.

So next year, we will keep up with the surveys, but also I will get back into the ebay habit and also be more vigilant when it comes to remembering to look at mystery shops available and also scour the sales more too, remembering I'm not looking for me, but for someone else! And with my trusty list in my handbag, I'll be able to make a note straight away!

Will keep in touch during the year to report my progress!

    Xmas Saver!
We had good news, the last presents have been delievered just found 2 cards, but luckly there local.

DD was really out of it this morning, so rang docs, got in, he said dont panic, but just need to do glass test ur daughter has the signs of menegitics, at that point the tears came, but how the heck I held them in I dont know, Thank god the spots disappered under the glass test, the diagnosis, viral infection, called "slapped cheek symdrome", I just thought her red cheeks was the weather.
Very weird, although shes infectious, shes only infectious to pregnant woman, thou bless her she said to the doc, nanny wont like that, doc asks y, dd pipes up, nannys moaning her tumble dryer not working the mans bringing the parts, were have to make sure hes not pregnant.............not the time for facts of life talk..........dont know who went redder me or doc.

Quite funny, as friends are bringing presents, 1st question r u pregnant!! raises a smile at the door. x
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
