  • Mum2one- lol bless her. Made me smile :D

Feeling very very very smug with myself as i have brought all the presents and wrapped them and made up two pots of gold one for OH and one for table on the day, we have five people for dinner so we got four scratchcards (as OH has already got three!!!! in his pot)

    I now have to:
Tidy the table (set up places etc)
Vax the carpet on the landing AGAIN!!! Grr
Drop off one hamper and two pressie bas to OH house without OH mum seeing :D
Re tidy bedroom as it looks like a elephant has run through it(although its two very naughty dogs that have!!)
NOT touch money until mid month next month
Bring down presents for dad's family and put them in living room(Xmas Eve)
Bring down OH Santa's sack and stocking (Xmas EVE)

That's all i can think of for now. Hope everyone has a lovely Christmas(incase i don't speak to you before Christmas):santa2: :snow_laug :xmassmile :rudolf: _party_

    morning all

Well I managed to get some bits done yesterday.

Sorted and wrapped 2 pots of gold
    Wrapped all stocking items
    Wrapped a few more presents
    3 loads of washing
as well as basic household chores

Today is going to b one of those days. I need to go shopping as DD1 has already informed me she wants spaghetti for dinner and we have no more mince in the freezer  so i'm going to have to brave the shops to go to the butchers and in my derarranged thought tank I said I would get some nice garlic bread which means braving iceland:eek:

As well as that excursion my nan and Grandad r visiting from Swindon at lunchtime-ish so have to b in for them. Also need to wrap 4 more hampers (Then just xmas eve hamper left which I will do tomorrow AM while OH is at work as it needs a mince pie and carrot adding to it) and wrap the rest of my kids presents oh and OHs that was delivered after I'd wrapped all his:rolleyes: This place needs a clean again especially before my nan arrives shouldnt take too long though.

mum2one I hope ur DD feels better soon, love her idea on the birds and the bees :rotfl:

    Morning everyone,
I was at work till 10 last night. I was gutted when i saw the rota. Never took any dinner for my break so was starving by the time i got home. Ended up getting a pizza, OH went to pick it up while i got changed.
Anyhoo my wrapping is all done, got my rota for next 2 weeks and its not as bad as i expected, but it means that i'm gonna have to go out tonight to pick up fresh veg for xmas instead of tomoro coz i'm working till 6 and the shops will be shut then.
So my plan for today is.....
    Do last bits of tidying/cleaning
    Go shopping tonight
Wash my mum's curtains - she moved into her house last night:eek:, and put some nice new voiles up at the windows
Write a list of stuff i need to do tomoro:rolleyes:

Good job i love my lists!

    Have a good day everyone
Wanna wish everyone a merry christmas, you've all been such an inspiration to me ( i just wish i'd found this thread months ago!) and i'm raring to get started for next year.

  • Morning everyone, cannot get motivated to do anything today (got a bit of a sore throat & still in pj's) & DS just wants to stay in....
Debating whether to start preparing the veg etc today??? I'm cooking most of Xmas dinner tomorrow anyway and I don't want today to be a non productive day as I have been really good up till now.Anyone else starting today??

PS-Was awake half the night and got up at 6am:eek: Totally out of character for me:rolleyes:
