Had a lovely day, have to confess had a lie in......not gd, but took dd to an Ice cream farm by Chester, had a fab time, I had the most gorgeous icecream, christmas pudding, and dd had baileys icecream.

Then hit Tesco on the way home only coz I wanted the 3 for £20 drinks offer, one of our xmas visitors only drinks Stella, and luckly it was in with the offer.

Panto tomorrow, thanking dd, mum and dad, then be mad packing ready for Chester on Mon.

Rack your brains, we're haveing a family debate whether we should get the postman an xmas prezzie / £5 tip.......... he's only been on the round 3 mths. What does everyone else think.

Does your postman give you a good service e.g close your gate deliver wrongly addressed mail to you????? If so then i would go ahead and give him the money. Hubs is a postie and although this sounds really ungrateful(which he isn't, afterall you don't have to give anything!!) and last year he came home with bottles of whiskey etc(which we don't drink) that would have cost in excess of a fiver he would have much preffered the money no matter how small the amount. Unless you know him well and know his likes/dislikes.

    Sorry for the loooong ramble

I'm on the good list today!

I bought wrapping paper and cards for the birthday stuff, an impulse gift too - and I made an appointment to get a marriage licence and organised meeting the coordinator at the venue I insist upon having. AND my beloved's visa finally turned up so he will be arriving in time for Christmas. We were concerned that he wouldn't get here in time but he'll be here on Sunday!

Happy day - congratulations jamtart, and I'm glad you're mostly all feeling better. Sorry to anyone who isn't - drink lots of juice.

Hope oh got there safely. xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
