Hi all.... just a heads up , over on HUKD they're saying its going to be half price sale on friday , most stores expected to be doing it....don't know what it includes , but may be worth a look. hth

well, i was in mfi on saturday and got 2 cups with saucers and a cruset kettle for £2, i am sure that i could have got a bit more for £2 as they were just giving the accessories away.

But I bet their XBox360s aren't half price, nor TVs, DVDs, CDs, Games etc.
I wouldn't be surprised if all the other stuff (tools, clothes, hardware, chinese tat etc.) was half price though.

Yeah, it will be all of the old Xmas crud that they are selling off, probably decorations too, but DVD's, games, and electricals will most likely remain the same.

Do you think it is a rumour being put about by the Woolies staff to get people down there hoping that once in the store they will just spend anyway??

Come on why would they sell anything for less than they paid? Take this site as an example if they said they would knock 10% off everything most of us would have a look especially at this time of the year, so why go drastic. Most shut downs start with 10% off then 20% etc just look at Focus they rubbish left gets the biggest knock down. Sorry to disappoint but never going to happen.

They wont have many games left soon, One wooolies I was in today had sold out under most titles.

They are not getting any more stock AFAIK because their supply side is in admin to.

Just seen Woolworths website down for 'essential maintenance' Perhaps they are re-pricing everything to £1!!

It's down because the administrators have shut it down, possibly for good. It has nothing to do with any sales.
