Thank you! Not sure where to start really except I imagine we'll set a date either in the next year (OH mentioned wanting a small affair though not sure how set in stone that is - I've got an open mind at the mo) or a few years down the line (I'm planning on going back to uni in a year or so which could mean waiting until that's finished.)
Must admit the thought of planning a wedding is very exciting!
I look forward to hearing your plans hayley11 when your OH sorts out that he needs to propose before getting you to organise a wedding!Dealing with my debts!Currently overpaying Virgin cc -balance Jan 2010 @ 1985.65Now @ 703.63

How exciting for you Jo! Congratulations!
Hope the baby is doing well!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Thank you!
Is all very exciting - I can totally see why laydeez get so caught up in organising their weddings!
Was having a sneaky peek at wedding dresses last night on the internet, when OH had a look over. He made a jokey remark along the lines of, oh gawd steady on there! Then saw the site I was looking at (Landy) and suddenly became more interested when he decided the dresses were very reasonably priced LOL!!!:rotfl:
Think will have to do that when he's not around though as don't want him seeing what I'm picking eventually, although he does like the idea of me having a bold coloured dress or something in black and white (apparently everyone would laugh if I got married in white:mad:)

I never did get a proper proposal,we just sort of decided it was about time we got married as we were not likely to fall out or get fed up with each other after all this time,18 years.I do feel a bit cheated out of a proper proposal though so I think its really nice and romantic that your OH is planning one to sort of formalise things."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0

An update! Stupidly I am getting my hopes up again!
Having found a ring box (but haven't looked inside) and given that my OH told one of my friends his proposal plan whilst he was drunk nearly a year ago and 6 months ago she told me (without me asking - I didn't want the surprise spoiled) and given that a specific item that appears to be the crux of the plan (other than the ring Lol!) will be present on our holiday next week - I can't help but wonder...
However, I dont want to get my hopes up and have them dashed and equally I don't want him to realise that I have been told his plan as he would murder my friend!
Arrrggghhh! *goes crazy*0 -
That definitely sounds promising! And how much willpower did it take NOT to look in the box?

It wasn't that tricky actually- I wished I hadn't found it (and that he had hidden it somewhere that it was less likely I would have to look). Emotionally I am quite easy to read and he would know I had seen it before. Also what if I don't like it!
Maybe it is a posh box with a plastic ring and I'll get to choose...0 -
Back from hol - still nothing
Said specific item was not there despite what it said in the brochure - think it was the first week of the season.
Fed up of this! It always makes me think that I'm not good enough0 -
