    Plan for the Way Forward I am going to change the way I do things a bit and see if that helps. I think that EE is a brilliant plan but I think the thing is when you are on Red or Green and you play around with the diet abit you will still lose weight. If you are on EE you can not play around with it - if you do you will gain weight! Simple as really! I have been playing around with it and got my fingers well and truly burned:o:p

    Instead of posting my menu plans on here in advance, I will post the following morning a synopsis of what I actually ate - instead of what I planned on eating! Generally speaking I do follow my plans 100%, however there are always a few extras that get put in that I promptly forget all about and then get surprised when I get on the scales, although I do sometimes get flashbacks about it - especially when the consultant asks if I have been 100% and I say yes:rotfl::o:o

    Thanks for all the support guys

    Love

    hi all. congrats to the losers and keep going to the gainers :D

    not doing too bad today, thinking about somthing retiredlady said about bits just 'creeping in' ie a splodge of mayo here, a biscuit there etc.

    meals have kept to the plan but 2 chocolates have 'crept in' To be honest though it would have been a lot more than just 2 usually so thats got to be an improvement! (they were brought in for a birthday at work)

    the plan!!
    breakfast, wm toast
    lunch, left over stewing steak, gravy and tonnes of cauli
    dinner, lentil spag bol
    shacks, box of fresh cherries and the 2 sneaky chocs :o

    am feeling like i need to keep logging on and checking the thread, it definately helps :beer:

  • Hello everyone - Marion - sorry about the gain but it's not very much when you think of what you have actually lost in total! I agree with you 100% about the EE plan - I think that's why I didn't lose in the first couple of weeks I did it and it put me of SW altogether, which is stupid and I need to have a re-think becuase I do think food optimising works. You will soon get that gain off!

    Purpleskies - well done on the trousers amd commiserations on the rugby - i'm half Scottish and always want them to beat Wales!

    Spugz - sorry about the gain - just keep at it and it will come off. I don't think you can freeze the cheesecake if its got jelly fruity stuff on top as when it defrosts is goes all runny - you could maybe scrape the topping off and then freeze the basic cake though.

    Newlywed - sorry about your car - hope it gets sorted soon and without too much expense.

    Procrastinator - hope you are feeling better today.

    Keiss - hope the pain is manageable today - it must be so frustrating.

    :hello: Taplady, Frogga, ispartacus, vixtress, marie, wyrdsister, purpleorc and anyone I might have forgotten!

    Food today has been okay but I am really worried at the moment and that is affecting my eating - I always eat when I'm stressed. I am having a hysteroscopy next week because of my horrendous monthlies, which have got progressively worse over the last year and I am terrified they are going to find that I have uterine cancer, because I have read up about it on the internet and it seems that being obese is a big risk factor. I know I have fibroids and am hoping it is just them, but they started me on some injections a couple of months ago, which they said would stop my monthlies and it has made them worse if anything! I am alright for a while and then I start to think about what would happen if they did find something and I get all upset and start to go into the "if I'm gonig to die then I might as well eat " mode and that is just not the right attitude but I can't seem to help it.

    Sorry to have gone on a bit, - hope you are all having a good evening.

    Will keep everything crossed for you Jane. I know its easier said than done, but try to not worry about it. Worrying is pointless, as you have no control over whats going to happen, so worrying will get you nowhere. Just accept that what will happen will happen, and that you are doing the right thing by having the tests and getting to the root of the problem now instead of ignoring it.

  • Hey everyone, popping on quick to update today's (now yesterday's) eats

    Had to skip breakfast because I was late for work, luckily I work in a smoothie bar so managed to sneak in a quick one for breakfast :p It was kinda late though and upset my eating for the rest of the day! My boss was then late coming in to take over from me at half 1 so he let me have lunch there too and it was a choice of meaty sandwiches, meaty salads, or a cheese panini, not the the healthiest but it was gooood!

    I had a huge salad for tea (dinner, sorry i'm scottish :p ) with boiled potatoes but since I missed breakfast my tummy hasn't been feeling too great today so no snacks! That's either a very good thing or very bad thing, will weigh myself tomorrow to find out!

    RS - I've not been here very long but I hope everything goes ok for you! I get those injections and I think they vary from person to person, I also had horrendous monthlies and as I suffer from pernicious anemia the doctors wanted me to try it to help me keep as much red cells as possible! My monthlies stopped right away but a friend of mine who gets hers for other reasons still gets her period.

    Anyway, hope you all have a good day tomorrow, I have lots of exercise planned, eek, I must stay away from these forums or I won't get it done! :p

  • Hi
    Yesterday was very low on food intake as I was still poorly. Feel better today and have had a small bowl of cereal. Will take a sarnie to work, not sure what to put in it yet, will investigate the fridge. Dinner will be shep pie made with green lentils. Have a good day everyone.

  • Daily eating plan - yesterdays! Good morning everyone, and welcome to melliac! Nice to see you back again Isparticus! Hope everybody else is coping with this weather, Jane good luck with the op!

    I had my first perfect day yesterday following the SW plan in a long long time. I used the SW diary on their site and not even a coffee passed my lips without being put down. It was a shock to me to realise how badly I had been following things and thinking that I was being perfect. Next weeks weigh in should be interesting:beer::j

    So yesterday I had:

    Breakfast - had at class after weigh in so this meal isn't a very good one:o - 1 hi-fi bar (HEB) to kellogs cereal bars (9 syns:eek:) an apple and a banana (free) plus may as well put my milk in here for the day (HEA)

    Lunch - Homemade leek and potato soup with left over chopped up turkey roast stirred in to it and a muller light (free)

    Dinner - Chicken breasts cooked with rice, bamboo shoots, brown lentils, sweetcorn, peas and soya beans. Flavoured with soya sauce, worcestershire sauce and chinese spices. (all free)
    Later I had raspberries with 0% total and a raspberry mullerlight.

    I started getting the nibble around 10 so I went to bed!:T:o

    So breakfast was a bit pants really but I stayed within my syn allowance and did not have anything I did not write down - so yay me!:j:j:beer:

    Love

  • Hi everyone
    Didn't stick to plan over weekend. Had friends over saturday and wanted nice meal so made lamb chops, mash, roast veg then hm tiramisu. Then Sunday OH fancied curry so made chicken madras which we ate with samosas and nan bread. I suppose a takeaway would have been worse.
    Anyway, back on track yesterday. I've bought a gorgeous dress I need to get into on 8th March so that gives me a month. Yesterday I had:

    b=toast, scrambled egg
    l=cereal, raspberries, apple, banana
    d=prawn sandwich, quavers
    s=cheese oatcake, yoghurt

    Today:
    b=cereal, raisins and 1x peanut butter on toast
    l=prawn sandwich, quavers
    d=low fat chilli and wedges
    s=apple, banana, yoghurt

    Hope you all have a good day x
