Hello everyone - thanks for the response to my question Purpleorc! I watched that programme half tonne hospital too and it terrified me!
Marion - good luck with the weigh in tomorrow!
Procrastinator - hope you ahd a brighter day today and glad you enjoyed the night out!
I had a good day yesterday until after tea when DD had a friend round and they ordered pizza and chips and then only ate a little bit of them. Guess who ate the rest? Result was I went to bed all bloated with indigestion and woke in the night with my heart palpitations. I went to hospital this morning but Thank God by the time they came to do an ecg it had gone back into normal sinus rhythm. I was only there a couple of hours but I came away DETERMINED to try and eat better, and today I have done okay. I didn't have breakfast but had an apple, a pear and a slice of reduced fat lancashire cheese for lunch, a packet of snack a jacks for snack and a lovely evening meal of stir fried veg and beansprouts with a little bit of sweet soy and ginger stir fry sauce stirred in, followed by a mullerlight choc chip vanilla yoghurt. I went to Borders this afternoon to meet a friend and bought a cheap book about food and health - it lists all kinds of common ailments and tells you what foods and vitamins are good for it. There are chapters on depression, anxiety and also indigestion and IBS so I am going to give it a good read through.
We had some snow before but it has turned to rain now - DD2 is hopping mad as she wants snow!
Hope you have all had a lovely Sunday and good luck to all the Weighers tomorrow. Frogga and I have decided not to weigh ourselves for a while, but to just mark each week off that we haven't binged and have eaten well.Jane

Good morning
What a terrible day Sunday turned out, I came off here intending to get dressed and go out for the day but was siezed by terrible stomach cramps, nausia and the dire need for the bathroom. My head was pounding and I ached all over. Spent the day in agony not knowing what to do with myself. Started to feel a little better by 10pm so ate one small banana and half a glass of milk. DD made dinner but I could only manage 2 forkfuls. OH finished it so wasn't wasted. This morning I am feeling better and have taken paracetamol for the aches and fuzzy head. Have just put a couple of eggs on to boil, hopefully will manage to finish at least one before work, not actually hungry but need to get something inside me.
Scales say I have lost a couple of pounds but I think not eating yesterday will be giving a false figure so I am not going to count todays weigh in and will see what happens next week. Have a yoga class this eve, hope I make it, last week was cancelled due to the snow.

Hi all. Sorry I havent been on for a few days. I have had a 'mare of a week. Hot breakfasts, lunch on the go etc have led to a second straight week of weight gain, 2.8lbs this week.
I know it has all been my fault as I havent really been concerned about what I have eaten over the past week, and now Im paying the price.
Today I am hoping to knuckle down and get back onto track.
Bran Flakes
Tuscan bean soup
Sausage Casserole
Hopefully will see you all tomorrow.
Havent had a chance to read through all the previous posts yet, might do it in bed tonight, but if you have lost over the past days well done, if you havent keep going, I know how you feel, but keep going.

Weekly Weigh In Well after missing weigh in last week due to the snow and guessing a STS I got weighed at class today and was horrified to have put on 5.5 lbs
I have no one to blame but myself, I have been enjoying EE so much that I "forgot" I was on a diet and didn't bother counting the little extra that creeped into my daily eating. That extra glob of mayonnaise on a sandwich, big glob of ketchup with SW chips, not measuring my cheese or my milk in my HEA, forgetting to count the s yns in a jar of sauce (split between 4 of us so it can't be many - yea right - not!) handful of crisps off my husbands plates, chicken nugget from daughters plate... well it just goes on and on.
Hopefully I am smart enough to learn from this and have given myself a stern talking to. I have to learn that I can not eat whatever and whenever I want and get away with it.:o
This week I will write everything down, and I mean everything - I will be an :A, and see how I get on.
Love
A very chastened MarionWhen life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -
Hi all,
Hello frogga
Well I know I said I could survive without my car.... but I thought it would have at least got me home on Friday instead of needing a tow truck!
Verdict is new radiator and water pump. Next issue is that it was towed to my house and I have to get it from there to a mechanic/garage for the work to be doneLife just gets so complicated
In any case, thankfully have borrowed a car.

l: hm minestrone soup - roll
d: smoked river cobbler and rustic chips - and some veg

Hello All!
Well sad to report a 3lb gain this week! Boooo! Serves me right for being a piggy - it's just so annoying that it will probably take 2 weeks to lose that!
Anyway today is:

Trousers are difinitely feeling a little loose! Have to keep pulling them up every 2 mins. Luckily they're not at the stage where they could fall off but that's only a couple of inches away!
Feeling rotten today and it's all my own fault. Drowning my sorrows after our rubbish 6 nations match yesterday. Not really been able to keep stuff down. When will I learn! Although I guess it's keeping my calorie intake down but definitely not in the way I would prefer to do it!
Well done to the loosers & good luck to everyone!0
