So sorry for your worries - I do hope thngs get more positive. Try to do something good for yourself each day, you deserve more from life at the moment than stress.

Thanks. I'm trying to do something useful each day, however small (not got much to do at work so feel useless). So far have changed my mobile contract to a cheaper one, found a cheaper gas supplier, the other day I left a post office queue and opened the door for a lady with a pram and a toddler (I was at the back of the queue near the door anyway :o). Bit stuck on something useful for today though...

Trying really hard not to translate it into "I deserve chocolate!" :D

Happy thurday to all and congratulations Raspberry on your loss :-)

Zippy - looking at your food the day you thought you had worms you didn't eat much of anything, especially protein and fat until the evening, so I think your hunger was your body trying to "catch up" on the nutrients it needed. The trainer who did my induction recommened spreading protein foods through the day ie have yog/milk as snacks and fish/meat/beans with lunch plus not to go too low on fat as this can start of uncontrollable hunger.

Oh and do you have a recipe for the chilli jam please?

Some good advice there - totally agree with you! Looking at it i hadn't much substance before that so all in all not so bad! I am making an effort bu doing my best with the work thats going on at the minute .

    Chilli jam :D

Its delicious and soooo easy to make :j ( Iadded a cheeky scotch bonnet in too :) )

MissCupcake - sure will report in. It does seem to good to be true, i know! That's why i love it - as i dont feel guilty and nothing is off limits!:eek: Weigh in is on monday x

    Hi everyone,

I haven't been very good foodwise for the last few days. I also haven't been feeling very well; sore throat, very very tired, very dry rough skin no matter how much moisturizer I'm applying, hairline very dry & flaky too :(

    Food today....

BREAKFAST - 2 slices of malted grain toast with low-fat spread and a sliced banana on top. 2 large teas.

LUNCH - Bowl of H/M veg & pearl barley soup, 1 slice malted grain toast with reduced fat peanut butter. Large tea.

    AFTERNOON - 2 coffees.

DINNER - Chicken casserole, baked potatoes, carrots & cabbage.

Going to try not to eat after dinner.....I've been doing too much of this lately :o
  • I have been doing pants.

You guys are doing great, though, hoping it will rub off on me.

    Hi all,

Late checking in today becaus work has been nightmarish, 7.30am-9.pm....not fun anyway I'm really pleased that I managed not to eat rubbish as there was rather alot of it about today. Choc cake, crisps, biscuits and sweets all left over from a function but I just ate some of the fruit.

B: Bran flakes, semi skimmed milk and a banana

L: 1 1/2 slices toast with small tin of beans

D: HM chicken curry with brown rice and a small naan

    S: 1 pear & 2 satsumas

I'm absolutely shattered, chances are I will be late again tomorrow so just need to make sure I have fruit to snack on to stop me raiding the vending machine

can i come back and join you please?
there are still a good few of you around that i remember even though i havent been around for ages
i got to my 3 stone target in october and have done well in general at maintaining. the problem is that after a very stressful few months of not being particularly old style things have now settled down and i have re-gained the cooking bug :D
i have, over the past few weeks noticed my weight fluctuating by 4 or 5lb. i know this isnt much and i am pleased to have kept it off but i just feel at the moment that i am in danger of letting things slip
i am 2 months into a nice new relationship and the wine and meals are flowing. i think i just need the structure of a weekly weigh in and some inspiration from you marvelous peeps :D
so if you'll have me i'd like to come back and weigh in weekly every friday.

Floyd well doen for staying on the diet wagon despite a logn day!

Many thanks for the chilli jam recipe - I bought the jam sugar I need this morning and will get the peppers at the weekend, I think sweet peppers are one of the Aldi super 6 this week.

    I kept to plan yesterday.

    Today is:

    bran flakes
    yoghurt
    satsuma
    soup
    chicken sandwich
rissotto with smoked cod and green veg.

    best wishes to all.
