Zippy - i dont think its too bad at all :) just seems to be quite a lot of grazing to me or topping up(I do it myself) it could be so much worse imho;) I just hope you havent got the worms:eek::rotfl:

    welcome to Ruth x

Thanks! I know the bread was bad, but it was the only bread i had in the house! And i was SO hungry! PLus the cheese was the only cheese i had all day - and i only had 2 cups of tea for milk, so I think that's ok? Maybe I am wrong. Making wheaten today. Am doing paul mckenna who says eat when youre hungry and stop when youre full - so thats what im doing! It has worked for me before - so i hope it is working again.

Thanks for the input though - it's just scary when i write it down, but at least there was no alcohol crisps chocolate or buns!:rotfl:

Your food looks fine to me - ok it's maybe not strictly 'diet' food but it's hardly unhealthy either. Sometimes I find that I'm hungry no matter what I eat (particularly right before TOTM, but also at busy other times) which is why I would never try Paul McKenna's idea of eating when hungry and stopping when full! If I followed that I would constantly be eating every 10mins and probably put on a lot of weight :p I understand that everyone is different though so if it has worked for you in the past then you must be doing something right :) I find having some nice, filling HM soup in the fridge is really helpful for those days when I just want to eat eat eat, maybe try that?
  • Hello to Ruth and Well done Raspberry! Hi to everyone else too - started with all good intentions this morning but went off track at lunchtime and now feel too full to have any tea so will try for just a clementine and glass of water - don't know if it will do any good though.

Breakfast - 40g fruity alpen with banana and skimmed milk
lunch - huge piece of baguette with butter and two sausages, two cheese slices, bag of crisps:eek:
mid-afternoon - bowl of porridge (huge) - made some for DD's after school snack and she didn't want it so I ate it - there was loads of it too; 4 mini oatmeal cookies.

Dinner - plan to only have a bit of fruit and cup of tea because I feel so sick ATM.

If I do manage to get through the evening without eating anything else much then I will feel much better about tomorrow. I just need to get bacdk on the wagon and stick to it.

Hope you are all having a good day!
    Jane

Ok so I'm back again - my back to work diet lasted a very short time, as did my enthusiasm about being back at work. 2nd day back after being off sick 2 months and was told I'm in line for redundancy. Still waiting for it to be official. Plus OH's had his hours cut down so low and hourly rate reduced it's hardly worth the petrol money, so he's given up his main source of income (self employed).

Anyway with all the stress and upset haven't slept properly for about 2 weeks. That means I'va been eatin :o

    So far:
b: Just right cereal and oat milk
    s: toffee crisp
s: small bar of dairy milk
    s: toffee crisp
l: HM soup and two rolls
    s: bar of dairy milk

Not even had me dinner yet either :o Plus yesterday was two packets of biscuits, a large bag of vegetable crisps, a bought sarnie, a tofee crisp, and some digestives - that was just the bits I ate whilst at work.

My head is in a bad place trying to work out how we pay all the bills on just my wages this month, let alone next month and after I have no job, and I need to stop trying to quieten down the worries by burying them under food - coz it's not working :)

Plus I haven't really got the money to keep buying chocolate and biscuits anymore :(

So I need to start again again again and try harder from tomorrow (though I think I have another meeting with the boss so that won't be a good start).

  • Thanks Floyd & Zippychick for the calorie info. Well that was around 600 cal breakfast! Oh dear! Then for lunch I had a mushroom stroganoff (sp?) so very creamy and I'm sure very calorific!

Thing is I'm starving now and I don't get home from work until 6pm and then I have to last long enough to cook something. Just have to remind myself to snack on one of the apples slowly withering in the fruit bowl rather than the unopened cake in the cupboard!

RS - (((hugs))) hope you have a better day tomorrow x

Newlywed - (((hugs))) sorry you're having a tough time. Its perfectly understandable why you're struggling at the moment. It will hopefully get easier when your other problems have been sorted to try and concentrate on losing weight.x

weigh in later for me. Hoiping to stay the same but I dare say I've put a little bit on.fingers crossed.

B - boiled egg and toast and marmalade

S - sliver of HM banana cake

L - small seeded roll, cheese and chutney, small bowl HM butternut squash soup. Yoghurt.

D - it will be late after SW so might treat myself to the other Basa fillet with some rustic chips and peas and a big chunk of lemon.

Purpleskies-croissants are yummy, cant remember the last time I had one. Years ago when I was a skinny young thing I used to work in a bakery and have a fresh warm croissant with jam and fresh cream for breakfast!:D

Yesterday was ridiculous. Kept to plan until 7pm when OH arrived with bottle of wine. Couldn't resist and before I knew it we had finished the bottle and OH went out and bought more booze and cigarettes. I got very drunk and smoked 3 cigs. All those calories on drink! Aaargh! Good job I threw up really, might have done myself a favour. :D

Don't you just hate when that happens?? LOL :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
