Off to look at recipes now
Ours made 10ft high.
They're definitely to be eaten by consenting adults only - and then only if everybody present has them!;)
Diluting them with an equal quantity of carrots and some onion in the soup did moderate the effects quite considerably, fortunately...If we are supposed to be thin, why does chocolate exist?0 -
Hello everyone - I was talking to Frogga yesterday and she was trying to encourage me to get back on the wagon and suggested that I start posting on the thread again so here I am, again:o, fatter than ever (currently just short of my heaviest ever weight). I was hoping to make a good start today and filled my fridge with veg, fruit and yoghurts. I also succumbed to the new M&S fuller longer stuff - bought a few of the ready meals as they were on offer and had the chicken casserole one for lunch today. I have to report that the advert is right - "This not just diet food" - it's MINGING diet food! The casserole was revolting and I felt annoyed with myself for not cooking something from scratch! Well one thing led to another and now here I am typing this eating a monterey Jack cheese toastie with ketchup, whilst anticipating a tea of breaded southern fried chicken (M&S again:o) with Jacket potato with sour cream and chives. On the plus side, the sour cream is Sainsburys Be Good to Yourself, and I will have a nice salad with it.... I am going to HAVE to get back onto it tomorrow for sure. Anyway, hope you all don't mind me joining back in - I'm hoping your positive posts will help me get back into it and stop bingeing every time I get fed up or worried. I have enjoyed reading the posts from the last week or two and it seems that there are a number of us who suffer with binge eating problems, but you all seem to be dealing with it - Frogga was well in the good zone yesterday - so I hope I can start eating more healthily and get losing weight in time for summer! I am hoping to do some meal planning tonight because my fridge and freezer are both full ATM. Hope you are all having a good day!Jane

HI Suzi, That is SO ME!! I have a switch too! At the mo it's off and I too was thinking about WD on Monday and how I'll keep going in February because it's a short month :rotfl:We are all a bunch of nutters!
What a day, my poor feet are in need of TLC. As I had my car today I did the shopping at the local aircraft hanger (supermarket), walked DD's dog, took my own for a long walk in the woods and up to the top of our local hill the admire the murky view. You are so lucky Keiss with your sunshine (and the beef sounds smashing too). I reckon I've probably done at least 15000 steps.
A big THANK YOU to everyone who recommended the Basa fish, it was lovely and DH liked it too. Sounds daft, but I don't like fishy tasting fish, but this was great, so mild, a must have in the future :T.
The menu today is/was
Porridge made with ss milk, prunes and a fruit juice.
A pear
Mashed banana on toast and plums and custard
Tea will be Spanish rice and sausage with a small piece of olive speciality bread (looked really nice so thought we'd try it)
It's so good being back in the fold here, it's like coming home, aaahhhh!!!!"It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. Welcome back RS. :j Only been back myself a few days. We're triers hey?
Yesterday was ridiculous. Kept to plan until 7pm when OH arrived with bottle of wine. Couldn't resist and before I knew it we had finished the bottle and OH went out and bought more booze and cigarettes. I got very drunk and smoked 3 cigs. All those calories on drink! Aaargh! Good job I threw up really, might have done myself a favour.
Resisted the urge to eat lots of hangover carp today though. I had:
B: 1 weetabix with full fat milk and half teaspoon sugar (250)
L: one of those rubbish packetnsauce packet pasta things (500) and bananaAm making carrot, swede and potato mash which will go with a linda mcartney pie and peas (600)
snack: had 2 biscuits (100) and a clementine
Not doing too well at keeping to 1200 calories but as long as I keep it below 1500 it should be ok.2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0 -
Bad day Monday - ate far too many carbs.
Today was on plan:
bran flakes and yoghurt
orange
soup and lentils
liver rissotto and cabbage.
Made it to the gym tonight too - 5 mins warm up on the treadmill then weights machines for 35 mins and a soak in the jaccuzzi!
Best wishes to all0 -
Really really great to see you back RS :A Like JoJo says we are triers :grouphug:
Still going ok for me at the moment. Have got to go to Sainsbugs today for 2 things so gonna walk straight in and straight out again without even looking at the yummies

Yesterday went quite well I think. Lets see if another good day can be chalked up. Slightly disorganised with food today, not sure what I am having for dinner. A trip to the shops may be in order.
B: banana and clementine (100)
Snack : biscuit and apple juice at playgroup (100)
Lunch: some left over mash and veg with gravy (350)
Dinner: Decision made! Will make store-cupboard dhal and bombay potatoes with rice (700)
Lots of carrots so might make carrot and coriander soup to freeze - I do find it helpful to have tasty low-cal soup in the house. Was thinking of weighing myself this morning but it's too cold to take my clothes off lol.2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0
