((zippychick)) sorry to hear about your cat, hope he will be ok.

had WI this morning and am still 11.8, i seem to have buggeed up my will power and metabalisom with the rubbish, stress induced weight loss over summer.
i am really struggling to get back into the OS ways in general.
the menu planning and batch cooking seems o have gone totally out of the window :o

dont get me wrong i am pleased to have not piled on the pounds but we are getting married in 7 weeks  and i REALLY want to lose the last 1/2 stone or so. i am sure that having a deadline is making it much harder.

i have started being more active but i cant seem to get back into doing the wii fit every night like i was, i just cant seem to find the time.

cor i sound a right moany whinger dont i :o think i need to just get a grip :D

    have a great day xx

    morning all!

have been mia for a bit, have stuggled for the last 3 weeks but am trying to get back to it now. I've still only got 2 and a half pounds to go to get back to target so not a lot but its not easy staying at target when you get there! but I've had a good couple of days so far this week.

    B - beans on toast

L - low fat noodles with a sprinkling of cheese

D - veggie lasage and salad

    snacks - banana, grapes, yoghurt.

hope you all have a good weekend x

    Hi all,
Managed to stay on track yesterday as I didnt overeat at the Indian, only had a half portion of chickpea curry with plain basmati rice and 2 poppadoms so I feel pretty good today. Not sure what is on the menu for today but I will do my best to stick to some sort of plan and not go OTT just because someone else is cooking.

B: None, still full from last night

L: Usually some sort of stew or casserole with veggies

D: Possible fish, in a place by the sea so the temptation of fish and chips is always there but I will try and have something grilled with veg if possible :)

    Have a good day all

P.S Zippy, you were right about the jeans, they have loosened up after wearing for a bit :)
  • Thanks for the kitty wishes!

Floyd, great news on the jeans!

I can honestly say the pilates is doign me so much good. Im sure people read my menu and think - she eats far too much- but the amount of exercise i do i think it warrants it? The pilates is definitely sculpting me - it gives such good waist definiton, and I can really see that coming back (after putting weight on when immobile)

Also at this weight I am now , im not far off fitting into my skinny jeans - which I originally wore a stone lighter. So that's why I'm not particularly worried about weight. Did manage to lose 2lbs this week without much effort , again , chalk that down to ex.

    Today
    B - small scotch pancake
    S - Banana
L - small piece HM toast and scrambled eggs , yum
    D - dunno

Ex - might take a day off today as i havent had one in a while. Then again, i might make myself do some pilates. I always enjoy it after.

    Hi all

I would like to join it (have attempted to join in before but have never made it past day1 :o).

I have been put off before as I haven't been able to exercise due to an injury (I always find losing weight a struggle without exercising). Well my injury is now on the mend and my physio has given me the ok to start walking 2-3 times a week. :j

I am going to weigh in on a Monday but after next week will probably only weigh in every 2 weeks.

I might not come on here every day as I am trying to reduce my time on the internet. You can't burn the fat sitting at a computer desk and I am spending far too much time doing just that!!

Gosh it has been quiet here over the weekend...must have been the good weather enticing everyone to go outside.

WI this morning, and I have lost 3 pounds over the past 2 weeks, taking me over the three stone lost mark, yippee!!!! :j:j
I have also lost 5.5 inches in the past two weeks, making up for the 2.5 I had put on last time! I am so chuffed, I was getting a bit downheartened, as well as wanting to eat more of the stuff I shouldn't. I wonder how much more I will be able to lose when I start getting some regular exercise. Only just managing a shortish walk most days at the moment, going to see if I can use our exercise bike for any length of time this week.

Last week I got myself a foldable walking stick
(recommended by my chiropractor) and promptly used it there and then to do a bit more walking. It folds up quite small and has black & white checks. Since getting it I managed my first walk in the nearby town for 9 months. It's funny how exciting shopping can seem when you haven't done it for months (well, this year really!), even if it is only for an electric toothbrush in a Boots sale!! Having the stick gives me more confidence in trying to go a bit further, as well as giving me support and something to lean on when I need it.

Watch out everyone, have stick will walk!

Was at the dentist this morning, she is willing to replace a couple of front fillings which are not a good match for my teeth at all. As I use Denplan it will cost me nothing extra! She has also been talking about veneers, we will see how the fillings go, as I will have to pay for Lab fees (£75 per tooth!). At last I won't be embarassed to smile anymore!! :D

    Now as to food today:

B: Porridge, with milk, water and raisins
L: Seafood sticks and salad with soldiers of toast
T: Lasagne - made by DS1. extra veg, probably carrots and green beans

DS1 has already made the mince & tom sauce this morning as he got the bus to his old school at midday. He is saying goodbye to some of his former teachers and then going on to work at the Kumon after shool club. He should be back about 6 to make the white/cheese sauce and whack it all together to go in the oven. This will be good practice for him before he starts Uni in a couple of weeks time. He has made lasagne with his GF for themselves, but not for me, DH and DS2. He knew better than to ask me for my recipe (have never used a written one!)!! He didn't want to add either porridge oats or lentils, so it won't stretch beyond one meal - not very MS, and will bring back memories when we didn't add extras either! Once he is on his own and trying to make his money and food stretch further, I can see me getting a phone call about it all!! Mind you I will only need to point him to this thread and a few others. He is alredy a regular visitor to MSE.

Going back now to gaze at the weight chart I have set up in my spreadsheet...it looks so good, going down hill all the way!!

Have a good week everyone :D
