    Hi all

Still going well here this week but I am at a conference for the next 3 days so it will be tough to try and plan what to eat.

B: An open cream cheese salad sandwich and a bottle of vitamin water

L: Small bowl of pasta pesto and some salad

D: No idea, OH cooking again, last night was chickpea and spinach curry with rice which was very tasty

    S: Skinny cappuccino

Well done all, keep at it

    good morning all :D

well i'm back from barcelona and have put on 3lb :o to be honest though i deserve every ounce of it........sangria, paella, pizza, gin etc etc and that was just for breakfast :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
seriously though, i really did indulge, it would have been much more but we walked miles.

i am really pleased with myself though as i have just got straight back to it with no 'wait till next monday' like there would have been previously.

am still catching up with posts, ope everyone is ok, well done to the losers and positive vibes to those who are struggling :D

    today will be:

    2 x wm toast
    chicken breast and salad
dinner may be spicy mixed bean fajitas but not sure yet

am trying to avoid snacks until the 3lb have gone (official wi is sat) but may have a bag of quavers and some fruit.

    have a good day :D

    Good Morning all
Not feeling very well today, feel quite achy and under the weather.
The shopping has turned up and so far today I have had a little bag of snack-a-thingymajigs and a cup of hot chocolate.
Might just grab a quick and very small sandwich for lunch, I have so much to do today and Hubby has begged for lamb burgers for tea. They are huge though, so I'm going to cut mine in half and share it with the children.
    See you later

    Morning all.
Hugs to those that need them and hope all goes well for weigh ins etc.

I've lost another 1½ lbs this week. This walking lark seems to work ;)

My car needs it's MOT next week so who knows how much walking will happen then

    Anyway, food plan today:
b: oats with honey and nana
l: smoked salmon and egg mayo sarnie - it tasted so good yesterday ;)
    d: chilli wraps

snacks - pack of crisps :o, a pear, some grapes, a mini milky way.

Seem to be more hungry with the extra walking - so far up to 7,000 steps a day (bit tired today though so may take it as one of my easier rest days (have to do 3,000 then)).

Like the extra walk to Sainsbug though - you can take a short cut through a nice park and I've seen magpies and butterflies - much less stressful than finding a parking space too, plus it limits how much you can buy/carry ;)

In fact, I'm thinking of going back to online orders and use my lunchtimes for walking more instead of food shops.

Hope everyone has a good day - and roll on payday

    So far so good today-

    B: Musli
    S: Kiwi and Mango
L: Plenty of veg leftover from last night

    And NO donuts :j

Just wanted to ask a question-

I'm eating little and often which I thought was the right thing to do esp. as I'm eating low calories and fat but a friend of mine has just told me that I'm eating to few calories and that my body will "starve" and save up all the calories it can which will turn to fat thus putting more weight on.... Is this true? If so, how are you supposed to diet :o

Hi pnq - I think little and often isn't so bad. It's worse if you skip meals - then your body definitely goes into starvation mode and stores what it can.

But it is possible to be eating too little and therefore some people need to up their intake of HEALTHY food ;)

Someone who can count calories and tell you what your meal plan looks like in terms of calories will help soon, I'm sure :)

I'm going more for the healthy eating, low fat and get my butt moving options so don't count calories etc

Just done nearly 6,000 steps so today is not a rest day :D Lovely and sunny out.

Ah I see... The dreaded sit down job :( Have you seen those desks that are designed with a treadmill so that you never sit down? Pricey though :rotfl:

4 1/2 lbs- thats nothing! Well done you- How much did you originally have to loose if you don't mind me asking?
