    Well done frogga :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

    You? Get cocky? Really? ;):p

I think about food most of the day too. It's all OS fault - I never used to be thinking about planning meals till I was hungry and opened the fridge, never used to meal plan or make shopping lists, never kept tabs on grocery spends or anything like that. Now, if I'm not meal planning, cooking or food shopping, I'm looking for new recipes (when I'm not at work of course... a-hem :o)

Anyways, food today (still broke and waiting for payday):

    b: oats, water, honey, nana
l: left over fish pie - will stink the office out but not much else for lunch and didn't have time to make soup last night :o
d: Sausage casserole from the freezer and veg
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?

Me too  I seem to spend any spare minute planning eating/food shopping/cooking

I went dancing last night, then came in and ate 4 slices of bread and butter  I enjoyed the dancing but I was really fed up 'cos although my car is back and now driveable, my friendly mechanic says it's time to think about sending it to the scrapyard in the sky :cry::cry:
A new car is an expense I could really do without at the moment.

    Todays plan:-

B: boiled eggs with wholemeal soldiers
    L: Rice salad, fruit
    D: Pasta with veg sauce

Then it all falls apart as I'm out tonight with some friends I used to work with. Drinks and a potato pie supper..........................sadly, there is no veggie option  which means I will be starving when I get in after sitting with everyone else eating......I might try leaving a sandwich or something ready to eat when I get in.

Well done Frogga:T :T :T Can you pass some tips my way please??
  • Hello everyone - hope you are all having a good day! Well done Frogga:T

I had an okay day yesterday - food was fine until tea time when I made this recipe from this month's Sainsburys magazine - Quinoa pudding - it looked lovely in the magazine and had all the calories and fat listed with the recipe so I thought I would give it a go and it was the most disgusting thing I have ever eaten:eek: Have any of you ever had Quinoa? When I opened the box I thought it had a strange sort of smell but I perservered and then wasted a pint of milk, raisins and dried cranberries and a cinnamon stick making the bloomin stuff! It went into the bin as no-one would eat it which is something I hate doing as I can get most things down me! Anyway I felt "cheated" at missing my pudding so had that picky feeling all night - talked to frogga and that helped but then at about 11.30 I ate a fairy cake and 2 small slices of fruit bread. So not a diet wrecking binge but still not 100% on my plan.

Today I have had porridge made with skimmed milk and sweetner for breakfast and I have a pan of hm tomato and veg soup on for lunch. Not sure about tea though. I find that if I plan a whole day's eating I get even more obsessed than I normally am with food so I try to take it just one meal in advance IYKWIM.

I am another person who is totally obsessed with food! Sometimes when I am going to sleep at night I am thinking about what I will have tomorrow - how mad is that?

My friend wanted me to go and join WW with her today but I said no as I am doing okay doing my own thing ATM. I think counting doesn't help my obsession either - be it points, calories or syns.

Got the pedometer out yesterday but only did 2000 steps:o

  • Hi guys, what a fantastic thread.

I lost 10 stone over the last 4 years, had a bit of a downfall between December and the end of January so put 1.5 stone back on. But for the last couple of weeks I have been back to 1000 calories a day and the first stone has dropped off...however I havent cheated at all and since sunday I havent lost anything....feeling a bit fed up today, but fingers crossed it will suddently kick start again.

    for today I have
    B: Mullerlight Yoghurt and banana
    L: Tomato Risotto and yoghurt
D: Chilli con Carne with a tiny bit of rice

I dont allow myself snacks and to be honest I am now not missing them. My biggest downfall is jaffa cakes and kettle crisps both are evil!!!

Does anyone have any food suggestions to kick start things again?

well done frogga, sounds like your doing well :T

weighed myself this morning am am amazed to anounce 1lb off :j :j after the weekend and early part of the week i would of been really pleased to STS. hope it doesnt catch up on me next week.
am out for a meal tonight with OH, think it will be curry but i will try to make fairly sensible choices and stay good the rest of the day.
dont mind a meal out even if its a bit of a blow out, the most important thing as always with me is to get back on the wagon straight after, please remind me of that tomorrow if i am straying. i really think thats the hardest thing for me to do....i will do it though!!!

    soo today is....
    breakfast, 2 x hm toast
lunch' tuna in ginger and soy dressing (v low fat) on 2x wm & cucumber. muller light
dinner will be meal out, probably curry

    have a good day x

Not doing the weighing thing for a while, seem to go mad if I lose a pound and put on two the next week.

Well done to all who have lost or not binged

Today I have just had some fruit and fibre (mostly dust as it was the end of the packet) with a banana and coffee. Going out for lunch, don't know what that will be and will try to stick to a salad for tea...snacks will be a couple of kiwis and maybe a pomegranate, love them but they take ages to get at seeds so only have one the odd time.

That's the plan, hopefully will keep to it

  • Have not managed my 100% for the last couple of days, too much entertaining and going out for meals!:o Must do better on the weekend or there will be tears again on Monday Morning weigh in!

I am renewing my 100% pledge from today! Best draw a line for last couple of days I guess, although I wasn't as bad as I used to be - so I guess thats a good thing really - I even said no to dessert but unfortunatly failed to say no to the ribs and chips:o I must say they were absolutly delicious though!:p:D
