Thanks Smarties – nice to know it’s not completely un-interesting and thank you for the encouragement – getting there slowly!!! Doing a diary is really helping!!
LOL @ Numpty – bonus is I found out I know someone who knows a wash machine engineer too, so the options are open! Nudge, nudge,
Today –
1) I need to work out what next to do with council tax claim… and not sit on it!! So call local library, see if they can help and go there tom night…
2) Work out travel plans for this evening… gig in London (paid for it before LBM)
3) Make a better list for tomorrow!!
Hope all are having a good day!!

Hi LittleEmms
If you a really good washing machine engineer, he might be able to give it a one over and look for anything that might be likely to go wrong with it.
My first washing machine I bought from a work colleague for £20 and it lasted me 3 years.
My next washing machine cost me £215 and outlasted any extended warranty/insurance.
If disaster happens, there are shops out there that could sell you a reconditioned washing machine, in part exchange for the old one.
Cor, I sound like a washing machine nerd ........
I'm clean out of any other ideas (geddit).
Sounds like you're getting excellent advice from all the others on the thread. Well done you for putting your head over the MSE wall, be rest assurred the bullets don't come from that side.
Good Luck
