Morning LittleEmms hope you are good today :D

It's been so long since I got drunk I think I would need a week off work to recover. Think it's another sign of me getting old **sigh**

CWM (I really can’t refer to someone as carp sorry – it reminds me of Friends and phoebe’s husband changing his name to carp bag – I watch too much tv:o)

Boooooo at parking ticket (my friend actually “boo’s” traffic wardens – its funny and not offensive – as you’re not calling them a name or swearing) …. Is there anyway you may able to get out of it, via the Unfair parking tickets advice on here?

Lol - yeah I don't think I really thought the name through very well when I signed up! Obviously wasn't having one of my more positive moments! ha ha! I should maybe see if I can change it actually....

:rotfl: at your friend - one of my mates calls them "the greeny meanies" (they wear a lovely shade of puke green up here, not sure about where you are!!) - Think that's about as offensive as we get!! ;)

I don't think I'll be able to get out of it, I was definitely parked somewhere I shouldn't have been - I had just intended to have left by the time I got the ticket - but to be fair, if I'd gone out and driven I'd probably have gotten done for being under the influence - I actually only had 4/5 drinks (feel like I'm beginning to make myself sound like an alcoholic!! :D ), I just really can't take the pace at all any more! Got a Crimbo night out on Saturday as well - the thought of having 2 hangover's in a week is like hell on earth - long gone are the student days where that was a regular occurence!! ;)

Good luck with all you've to do today - I think I might try and drag my backside to the gym tonight, and at least go for a swim or summit!!

    Have a good day

    xx
  • Oooo if you do change your name – let me know who you then are – otherwise I’ll be so confused!!

LOL at the “greeny meanies” ….......definitely not a job for me.. I’m just so soft – I’d let people off all the time. I also couldn’t take the abuse!! I do agree – my friends ‘booing’ is funny – like they’re an baddie in a panto!!! :D

Oh pants at not being able to get out of it- that’s a shame – still worth having a looksie on that page – you never know ;). I think in the time of credit crunch they should have to give people longer and be more flexible on tickets.

TWO nights out in one week?!?!? I’m impressed… completely with you there – I can’t take the pace either!!!

Update on things to do (edited in previous post)

    Have a good afternoon!!! :D

  • Thanks Determined... I try to be positive - tis only way!!:D

Well firstly - two days - no MS forum - ... what was wrong.... well no I wasn't ill, just had an extremely busy weekend!! All planned pre LBM and one paid for before then - the other was free!

Was good though and as MS as it could be considering two days spent in London . I would like to think I was wise though and suggested me & bf got oyster cards which saved us SO much money. They really rip you off with a one day travel card - or if you're silly enough to pay for direct single/ return journeys - tip there for anyone coming into London who's not been or not been for a while.. get yourself one!!

So saturday was still very reasonable for a day in London.

Sunday was outer London - tube journey cost £2 return (bargain!) And a MS day by not eating at the venue (very expensive) and even though didn't get home til 8.30-9pm, resisted urge to get a takeaway - I cooked a burger out the freezer with chips... took 20 mins and was happily stuffed! :)

So today - a few more cheap xmas pressies have arrived - via Amazon. Its weird by spending less I've asked people to be honest and I'm actually getting them what they want!!

In fact - I must share this with you - if you've had a bad day - or just want a giggle - you must read this. (I'm buying this for someone btw ... not just randomly been reading Amazon reviews well actually that's a lie... :o its led me to buy it for someone!!)

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/review/R3V27MXZINXUSL/ref=cm_cr_pr_viewpnt#R3V27MXZINXUSL

Anyway - it made me giggle!! :o

Today I did spend some money on toiletries - unfortunately they were needed. I resisted the urge to buy stuff I didn't need. :T

Everything else is going well. I still need to ring Sky - didn't do that last week. MUST do that tomorrow!!! :o

Must get myself to bed early too!!

Speak soon my lovely DFW friends

:rotfl: OMG!! That amazon feedback is a classic :rotfl:

Hows today Emms? A good one for you?

Again - well done on your weekend in and out of London - you definitely succeeded on minimizing the cost!:T

I have my OH's crimbo do on Saturday - only drink and taxi to pay for as meal taken care of by company! I may even drive - although I think a few drinks will make the whole evening a little more interesting! :rotfl:

Have a good one!! Nat

    Morning Emms!!

Well I have returned from crimbo shopping - nightmare! 5 and a half hours of nastiness - and me begrudgingly spending money. No real option but to buy presents this year - next year I hope to have enough daily click and cash back money to fund all of it - as I will be buying less than this year!

I hope work isn't interfering too much in your DFWing? It is a nuisance - hopefully everyone will be winding down for the holidays soon and I'll have more time to spend on here!!

Have a great day - catch up with you later
