  • I have just called talk Talk to ask for a breakdown of my bill as there's a dispute. The advisor asked me if I spoke English. Is this sort of racism legal? I am a proud Scot born and bred, with English as my 1st language. When I asked to speak with her supervisor she hung up! So glad that they are no longer my provider.
  • The address I got was
    Customer Liason Manager
    Carphone Warehouse
    PO Box 344
    Unit 19
    Southampton
    SO30 2NP

I've just called for a breakdown of my bill and was refused. The advisor then asked if I spoke English? I didnt think such blatant racist comments were allowed. Being born and bred in Scotland with Englsih as my 1st language I didnt know what to say. When I asked for her supervisor she hung up on me. So glad that I have switched providers

  • Talktalk Moblie Closing Down!!

I never received a letter and only found out about this when checking my latest phone bill and seeing charges for calls between my landline and mobile. I first thought this was because the link had been lost again, it has happened to me 3 times before and after some very frustrating calls to the India "Unhelpful Desk" this was corrected and refunds made.
This time the "Unhelpful Desk" was in South Africa but the level of service was the same with the staff not having any clue about the landline/mobile phone link, although he did put me on hold to go and ask a college about this service. When he returned he said it was not a landline problem and I should call the Mobile "Unhelpful Desk".
When I phoned them I was told that the Mobile Service provided by Talktalk was finishing and that as my phones were still linked he would arrange for credits to be made but all further calls would be charged for, and their current policy is that all credit on the phone is lost, in my case this is £168.
I am considering what to do next but options are limited as telephone calls and letters do not work with Talktalk in my experience. may have to end up going to OTelo or Ofcom.
I also feel for all the people who have not received a letter or spotted a problem with their bill, as it will be one **** of a shock when the mobile stops working.
As for my mobile I have ordered an O2 sim card, at £9.78 per month for 120 mins/300 texts
  • I had similar problems and found no point in writing nor trying to reason with them over the phone after constant bill messups on their behalf.
So i made a video on youtube instead ("talk talk warning") Hope you will support it to spread the word.
Hoping to spam them as much as they spam their costumers and non costumers :)

    Hi Bkotago,

You are correct that TalkTalk Mobile is being ceased. There are a couple of threads on the TalkTalk members forum about this at the moment and we are wating for some further information from the management team regarding this. It would be worth you registering on the forums to post in the relevant threads.

  • Id like to say these stories come as a surprise but after trying to move house with my talk talk account i can only say they sound all too familiar! I'm amazed that any comapny should be allowed to operate like this. Each month they take OUR money without fail. But at the end of the day we really do pay for cheaper service.

Ours is the same old story of uncooperative/ rude/ clueless staff countless phone calls and complaints and still we've gotten no where. I cancelled my account with them 2 months ago because of their incompetance and have since received countless welcome packs, a modem and yesterday i received my first bill! I've written to complain but after reading this i don't hold out much hope. No company should be allowed to be this annonymous and unaccountable.

I am a full time carer for a sick disabled wife. Our main contact with the world at times is the broadband and phone line, i explained this to the customer services and they simply didnt care and were actually quite rude about it. Our income barely leaves money for food after the bills are paid and so i can't afford to be picking up the bill for their incompetance. If they hadnt given such shoddy service i wouldnt have cancelled so why should i have to pay a cancellation fee. If my letters are ignored i will definatly be consulting a legal friend on how to take this further.
    Fingers crossed!
  • How could a Customer Services team be as totally rubbish as the guys at Talk Talk. I am getting nowhere with a complaint I made a year ago and I have tried writing to their head office but get no response.

Does anyone have an email address I can try, or a number of someone that might actually be able to resolve an issue?

    Thanks

    Hi SS6BUL,

There is not a complaints e-mail address but the code of practice on the TalkTalk Website gives information on the complaints process. We can look into any issues for you on our forums (www.talktalkmembers.com/forums) if you are able to register and post. If you have any problems with this please let me know.

Boobal, sorry to hear you have received an unexpected invoice. Again, if it is possible for you to register using the details on the bill on the TalkTalk forums we can take a look into why this has happened.

    Cheers

  • I've joined the forum and posted my complaint on there, has anyone had any success with this as they seem to ignore everyother form of communication you try. to add insult to injury they not only sent me an invoice for a service i cancelled 2 months ago but they took the money from my account even though i'm sure i cancelled the DD to them....!
