    Hi Trinidadone,

The ADR states that complaints must be made in the form of a letter. This is in line with regualtor guidelines. You can complain using the contact us form on the TalkTalk website if you wish - this will be sent to the customer services team. Any formal complaint should be set out in a letter to the head office address.

In response to your questions about dealing with issues directly on this site it is purlely for data protection resons that we ask customers to register on the members forums. We do not run this site and therefore we are not aware what security measures are or are not in place for the transfer of details. For example - we do not know if private messages can be read by administrators as well as the recipricant. It would be highly irrisponsible to ask for personal information if we can not guarentee that the transfer of that information was going to be secure.

    Cheers

  • im new to this site and am trying to post a new thead regarding the moronic service provided by talktalk customer services. i would like the talk talk representative on this site to contact me regarding on going problems regarding poor broadband, dropouts etc. billing problems, and the fact that although some of the non english operators are extremly polite they havent got a bloody clue.
we have 4 talk talk lines with international service and have had nothing but trouble. this is a last request before writing to the ceo and if possible involving the media.

it seems this may be the place to post greivances with talk talk , apologies if it isnt , my problem with them is an absolute nightmare for me since swapping to sky in april , talk talk have been 'secretly' billing me for all international calls , and have now barred me from calling abroad although i pay for all other calls through sky , my line rental is with bt
it seems talk talk have somehow been able to cherry pick the most expensive calls and continue to charge them to me even though i cancelled with them and moved all my calls to sky , customer services really are abismal after half an hour on the phone to them they were adamant that this is what i wanted ?
please i am just a domestic customer with an average sized phone bill and simply swapped my call provider to save the cost of broadband , since sky give me free broadband if my calls are with them , now i have been hounded with calls from talktalk automated from there computer and at one stage talktalk managed to bar me from making any calls then changed the bar to just international calls , how on earth can this happen now i have a contract with sky for ALL of my calls , what a joke these people are great big companies preying on little domestic users , something needs to be done about them .....

    Hello oilfiredboilerman,

I'm sorry to hear you are having problems with your broadband and billing. I've sent you a private message to progress this for you. Sorry for the dealy in a response - I've been away for a couple of days.

    bigblackdog,

Did you have an LLU service with TalkTalk or were you on a standard line rental service? I've sent you a PM with an e-mail address so I can look into this further.

    Cheers

I am in the process of moving home and seem to be encountering a spot of bother!

Haven't been with talktalk all that long, but when I joined I specifically said i was only going to be at my address for 6 months, and would there be any problems moving home? I was told it was a simple case of transferring my account over to the new address and there would not be any charges. I was NOT informed I would have to again pay another £29 connection and be required to enter into a brand new 18 month contract!

I am moving next week and made sure I informed them a week ago, so that they had the required "14 days" that it would take to set up a new line. They assured me it would be ample time to concurrently disconnect services at one end and commence service at another. I was informed that the transition would be seamless, ie. It would end at one address and commence at the other on the same day. (I would actually have been willing to accept a day without service to be honest). So what has gone wrong?

Well, my line has been disconnected a week early, because apparently they put a "cancellation" by mistake. They accept that it was their mistake but cannot reinstate the line now because that would take another week! And as for my line at the new address, they have only actioned the request today, which means that I will be without both a telephone line and internet service for an entire 3 weeks in total!

Did I mention that I am a doctor, with 24 hour on call commitments? And that my wife is 38 weeks pregnant and ready to burst? This puts my patient care at risk, and being stuck at home means my wife can't even call an ambulance if she goes into labour? I find this extremely concerning!

The best they can do is apologise and tell me they have "logged a complaint"!!!! If I would like to complain further I need to write to them at their infamous head office address on Portal Way.

    Angry, frustrated and frankly disappointed...

    Any ideas?!...

I've suddenly realised why 'Emma' from Talk Talk is here and asking everyone to log into the Talk Talk forum to duscuss their problems...it's so the public who don't have a Talk Talk account can't find out just how terrible the Talk Talk service is.

Refuse to join the forum and ask Emma to sort out our problems in full view of us all.

Oh by the way I am an ex Talk Talk customer who almost went 'mad' trying the phone them to cancel !!!!

Indeed, it is strange that other company reps can sort matters on here such as the BT Reps without directing irate customers to a company owned forum where of course they have complete control over the content and access of the forum.
