Job Interview with DWP

I applied online for job for AO IRC 62230 for Chester on 18/8/09
Received phone call and e-mail to attened interview on the 25/8/09
went to interview on 7/9/09.

I also applied online for job AO IRC 62644 for E/Port on 1/9/09
but to date I have not heard anything from them,seems like a long time, is this normal has anyone else waited this long???
Has anyone else that applied for AO IRC 62644 heard anything from them concerning the interview.

I applied for AO way back in may and after my second interview i didnt hear back til the 10th of june, so it seems there is about a 3-4 week wait. Hope this helps! good luck x

If your on the waiting list they wont carry out pre-recruitment checks. of those checks, they take 20 working days apparently.... its the DWP who do the checking and not Manpower so that should be accurate!

Since we're both waiting on the same IRC, do you a deal: let me know when you get your CRB and/or phone call. I'll do the same if you haven't got anything yet when I get mine.

I guesstimated when I was told the same as you that we're probably looking at the 21st Sept as absolute earliest our CRB's could be back, unless they sent them off the day before they printed my success letter.

Seems like a lot of people are getting 'the call' recently. 'Grats to those who have!

Still waiting on 60369 (AO) and 60370 (EO) here. 60369, I have been told I should be contacted re: interview but haven't yet. Also been told those interviews should be this week coming.

Fortunately already got a success letter for 60370, so I don't really care about '69 anymore .

Both those IRC's have had multiple hold ups due to problems, starting with the online tests being problematic and then problems with the original interviews (lot of people not told the right things about what they needed to bring), and then more problems after the interviews. Applied back in June...
