FiveFootSix - the online test does seem to replace the lit and num tests. Yes you can do it at home. They will send you a login and password and you can do it at any time until the closing date, which is usually a couple of days after you get the details.

You have a max time allowed of 75(or 70??)mins to complete it and it has to be done in one sitting. It's a very long test so take the phone off the hook, go to the toilet and make sure you have a coffee by your side! I finished mine with only 2mins to go but I was taking my time.

The 36 questions are based on 6 case studies - six situations, with 6 questions for each. There is a lot of reading involved. All the questions are multiple choice or choosing on a scale -3 to 3 of how effective you think a proposed action would be. Some are general comprehension - as in, can you read a paragraph and understand it... Some are basic math, mostly looking at data, deciding what you need and working out percentages. The last part is managerial type decision making; for example How would you deal with person X's troublesome behaviour?

    Good luck!

Which IRC did you apply for?
My interview was 14th July, and I still have no news

    Congrats on your success :T

Thanks Vincentfan. IRC 61099. Where was your interview? Different areas most probably have different processing times. I'm sure it won't be long before you hear either way and the horrible waiting will be over! :o

Don't worry - don't think they would tell you either way over the telephone or by e-mail. We will all just have to wait for the letters this week !!! A few of us on here waiting for this exercise !!!!

Yes, I was there on the 17th ! Funnily enough the woman who was writing didn't ask me any questions either - must have had the same interviewers !!! She was only young, and was called Simone or something along those lines !!! the bloke was ok though - but a bit over the top. Think I was the first one in as well to make things worse !!!

No idea how I went on - this was my 3rd interview and I am really at a loss to understand where I am going wrong. Feedback from previous 2 interviews wasn't much help - just gave me scores (24) .
