My friend and I were discussing this subject earlier today as she sent off her application form for EO 27/7, closing date was 30/7
Is it normal that she hasn't heard anything at all since then?
She should receive an e-mail from DWP with the on-line test after submission of her application. I think mine took a couple of weeks from when I applied0 -
Thanks Jessbob So I guess she has approx another week to wait before she finds out whether her application has been accepted.
Poor thing, she check the post and emails every dayMy posts are my own personal opinion . I would always recommend seeking professional advice.0 -

I know. Its horrible all the waiting. Once she completes the on-line test though, and provided she is successful in that, they are pretty quick to ring to invite for interview0 -
Its 4 weeks yesterday since my interview, they told me I would hear in 2 weeks. Emailed them last week now a 4-5 week wait.
Never mind, applied for another 1!0 -
Just to update you all - I applied for the EO role in Liverpool with a closing date of 30th June.
I attended my assessment day on Friday 24th July. I passed the tests and had my interview - which I honestly think I was awful at - had a much better one for the AO role on the following monday.
Today I received an email from capita who are running the recruitment, that asked me to fill out a location preference form, even though I filled on out on the day!!!! They didn't say if I had been successful, just thanked me for attending and asked me to send the completed form back at my earliest convenience.
If I hear anything further I will let you all know. Has anyone else who attended the EO interview in Liverpool heard back yet???0 -
Following my post yesterday about the email - today I received my CRB certificate back, a printed letter with my test results (I only had hand written results on the day) and a letter to say I had been successful and they are taking the pre-recruitment checks.
Will update you if/when I get a start date. So if anyone out there attended the EO assessments in Liverpool or Warrington around 3 weeks ago - keep an eye on your emails and the post and let me know how you get on.0 -

Hi
I too had my interview on the 24th July and after 15 agonising days, have received three letters today. I received my CRB, test results and success letter. They are now doing pre-recruitment checks so it sounds promising. Can't wait until they actually offer me a role and then I will be confident I have the job!
Well done by the way.0 -
I am just writing with a question to anyone, I have recently been accepted and given a start date for a band c executive officer role within the dwp. I am concerned with whether or not the employers will ask me to leave because I have a 4 mm hole in each ear lobe (sign of a mis spent youth). I would be grateful if you could get back to me asap with some idea as to acceptable appearance within the department.0
