Hi everyone, just wondering whether anyone can help with this.

These are the competencies for an AO position in Watford:

    Operational delivery professional competencies
You will need to show evidence of the following competencies:
    Operational delivery competencies level 2

Ok, I understand the first 3 comptencies, but the last one, the professional competency, the link leads to a pdf file that has all the above competencies, also why is it say level 2, when the others above are level 1, it's all pretty confusing. Anyone have any ideas.

    Thanks

    Bizarre time again.

Got a letter yesterday saying I had failed the EO assessment.

Got a call this morning saying I had passed the AO assessment and I had done so well they were able to put me on the EO waiting list.

Hi there folks, just wondering has anybody heard anything from the DWP in regards to the Executors Officer positions (IRC 61602 & 61492) positions in & around the West Midlands area? The deadline for applying was the 15 July............

    Hi guys,
Spent all evening reading through this thread (procrastinating instead of studying lol) and I'm feeling much more prepared for my EO interview next week. Although they are interviewing hundreds of people so I don't think I'll get through, but at least the experience will be worth it.
I notice people have mentiond that you should use different types of senarios for the competancies, but I can't really think of any that are suitable for 'personal' category.
What sort of things have people used? I've got examples from work experience, education and volunteering. Do you think that this will be ok?

Thanks to everyone that has contributed to this thread. :) Hopefully I'll be have something to contribute myself after next week!

Excellent Examples! Not only will they be able to cover the competencies, but they also illustrate that you highly regard self improvement and have a social conscience. Sounds like you would be perfect for the role. Best of Luck :)

Hello I think you've got enough scenarious there so it wont matter if you cant find anything for the personal category. In my interview I mainly talked about my volunteering and study experience that seemed enough.

Just make sure they are good examples and if they require further info they will prompt you. Make sure you use the STAR format that you'll have seen in previous forums this should be enough to give a good answer.

I dont think it really matters how many people they are interviewing if you do well and get over the pass mark your in.

Good luck youll be fine make sure you get plenty of practice in.

    Thanks Tarja and qadsey :)
I didn't realise how much I actually want this job until I got to the assessment venue and was chatting with a couple of other candidates afterwards. So yeah, I'm very nervous and just doing my research (research = procrastinating lol).
The other thing I'm concerned with is that the job description is very vague... so I'm not entirely sure what I'm interviewing for! I've seen the "Our Jobs" page on the DWP website but not much clearer about what I may be doing if successful.

Can anyone give me a clue?

Also, qadsey, you mentioned a pass score... does anyone know what it is?

    Thanks,
    kick x
