you aren't annoying as I think most of the people on here are annoyed at the whole process for one reason or another so we all have something to complain about.

All I am saying is that if your anxiety shows through so obviously to all of us then it could be the same in the interview. Whilst that may not count against you as they are marking you based on your answers, what concerns me is that you may not get the answers out as coherently as you would like. Take some Night Nurse or something to help you relax.

I know, it sounds like a very badly managed proccess. They could at least notify people of when progress will be made with results/placement dates etc.

My nerves have ruined a few interviews before. Once you start it's a vicious circle i suppose. Hard to break. Going to OD on Rescue Remedy. My mum tells me it works for her.

    4 Week turnaround!

Emailed Capita today as it is 3 weeks since my interview for an AO in West Yorkshire, I was told I would hear in 10 working days.

Been told DWP are behind and are now on a 4 week turn around!

Oh well no news can`t be bad news!

For anyone that might be interestesd, I called Newcastle regarding IRC 60638 and 61075 as it had been over 3 weeks since deadline passing and I hadn't heard anything about interviews/assessments. They said that they will be making calls for interviews for 60638 next week and apparently nothing has been done for 61075 yet as it's too early.

This is going to be a bit of a rant here:

I am seriously annoyed now. When I called Newcastle this morning I was told that no calls have been made yet for 60638 interviews and nothing has been processed yet for 61075. OK, this is all well and good. So I go for an literacy/numeracy assessment today for 61298 only to show confirmation of me passing this previously and to book in my interview for this.

It's only by chance they sent me to the wrong table, they sent me to the table for 61075 applications, I then realised that this is the assessment centre for both 61298 and 61075, yes, I was told by Newcastle that the applications for 61075 hadn't even been processed yet. I explained to Manpower that I applied for both but I only received an invitation for 61298. The Manpower people said don't worry we can book you for both..I wasn't convinced at all. So What I did was I got my interview booked and confirmed for 61298, I really want an interview for 61075, this is AA level which is lower than the AO of 61298.

I am really not convinvced now about what Newcastle said about expecting calls for 60368 from next week as 2 weeks from deadline seems to be the norm, the deadline for this was 02/07. It wouldn't now suprise me if the interviews have been done for this exercise already.

I am annoyed by the fact that I was lied to regarding 61075, the assessments are taking place for this today only, luckily for me I have already passed it. I really can't miss out on the opportunity for these interviews. I think Manpower and/or Newcastle messed out my paper work somewhere along the lines, and thats even before taking the interview! one thing is for sure, incompetence is rife amongst Manpower and Newcastle.

    Any help/advice is appreciated.

    Thanks

Yes I was in a hotel bedroom at the Radisson in Leeds!

I did the online test about 2 weeks before I got the call for interview.

What office are you looking at if you pass the interview?

I would like Dewsbury or Leeds.

Mine was a bit odd as I did the interview first, then did the test two weeks after the interview. I must have passed the test as it was the same test as the one I did for the EO post and I passed that.

I want Leeds or Pudsey or Middleton.

    Hi

The AO interviews this week at Hillsborough are also for IRC 60535 ! There were not many there this morning though.

I had interview on the 17th July for the EO position, but not heard back as yet

Have you heard back about your EO interview yet? I've still heard nothing now and it's been 12 working days...

Someone i know went for an interview on Tuesday and was told there's now a 3 week turnaround.... The not knowing is killing me.
