Sorry i'll rephrase my question, i meant to ask - do you get a certificate to confirm your pass (for the online test) so that if you apply for another vacancy then you dont have to re-do the test. I already know i have passed and have also completed the interview.

If I remember rightly they said that there were 15 mistakes but if you made more than 15 circles you would fail automatically. Just make sure you put 15 circles and no more ;-)

You don't fail for circling more then 15, but only the first 15 are counted so if you have circled 15 correct and 3 incorrect, but the 3 incorrect arey are near the front then you will only score 12 in total. Does this make sense??

    hope it helps

Definitely not - I have now done the same bloody test 3 times. At least when I passed for EO the first time I did write all the answers down so on the 2 other occasions I was able to just copy my own answers.

I even got email confirmation that I had to redo them each time.

I stand corrected. Maybe it just wasn't made clear enough at the assessment day I attended

We were also told if we wrote on any paperwork other than the answer sheet or scrap paper we would fail straight away. I saw a guy in front of me work a calculation out on the question sheet so know he failed.

i did my AO interview in dundee on 3rd July, i received a letter about a week and a half later to confirm i was successful in my interview and that pre-recruitment checks are being conducted.

i've just made a call to try to enquire about what's going on, apparently they're doing more interviews? can't they just accept the first batch instead of having to wait for the second batch of which the post was advertised later? this is really frustrating!

the guy said that we should get a letter around next week to confirm pre-recruitment checks are complete and hopefully in 3 weeks things can start...i hope he's right. do they not know we need to be earning income like yesterday? i feel like such a fool as i didn't apply for some good jobs i saw in the papers of which the application date closed just last week...the only other posts available for now are telemarketing ones which i absolutely detest!

i hope dwp comes through soon

Oh noooooo, just decided to tackle the competencies sheet and see what i could say for each (leaving it to last minute, naughty) and its all so complex!!! I was an admin assistant before this and didn't really deal with customers as such, people over the phone but not customers!!! I am so going to fail!! Do i have to mention the points under each one? The interview is just points based isn't it? God, why is life never simple! Even if i do succeed (doubtful) i will have to wait months for a placement!

Having read through your posts you really are one of life's pessimists. You'll end up fretting so much that you'll not perform as well as you can.

Relax - the interviewers are really nice people and remember that there are about 10 sets of interviews going on at the same time so the interviewers are NOT comparing you to other candidates - they are merely marking you and there are other people who will decide where you came in the overall scheme of things.

Sorry, i suffer from anxiety problems :( Trying to over come them for the last few years. Just been looking for a job for so long, and i know that if i could get a job it would help me over come my anxiety problems, as i wouldn't feel so useless!! Never had an interview like this. I'm going to be really conscious of trying to say all the key things! I know i should try and relax but it is so hard. Sorry for annoying everyone!
