Job Interview with DWP

I was told that one on line test was all they needed, and the results would be used for all applications for all levels. I also had the e-mails reminding me to complete the test, even when I had already completed it ! I only completed it the once in the end, and obviously they have used this for both vacancies.
I did, however, e-mail DWP after the EO interview to ask why I had not been requested for interview for the AO position as well. After I sent the e-mail, I received e-mail from Capita about the interview this Monday !
Who knows what is happening
Very bizarre - it may be worth e-mailing them again then. I'm hoping i'll hear something in the next couple of days - it's been 7 working days (if i don't count the wednesday i was interviewed)First name Mister

Its weird that you have your AO interview before my EO interview, but they are still interviewing for the AO position ! don't think Capita are very organised at all with the whole process.
My first interview I had in March (wasn't successful:mad: ) was carried out by DWP themselves, and was much more organised. They even had their staff filling out all the 5 forms for you before the interview:rotfl:0 -
There is also the (remote) possibility that they mixed up the reference numbers and invited me for an interview based on the EO job?? Who knows.
I do know there were a few people in a flap the day of my interview that hadn't managed to get a passport photo - the nearest booth at hillsborough leisure centre was also broken. I heard one of the Capita staff telling another one the nearest one after that was at Morrisons back near Hillsborough Barracks (2 tram stops or 15 minutes walk away) so i'm not sure if they ended up sending people down there to get one?First name Mister

Hmmmm. That happened when I was there as well !!! Sure I was there on the 17th though !!! Gonna check :rotfl: They wouldn't interview them without the photos:eek: Even when they had their Passports.
I think you must have done the EO interview myself. When I asked the young woman who was taking notes at my interview if she knew why I had not been called for interview for the AO position, she did say that there were some delays with these.0 -
That'd be a welcome surprise if i had - and got the job
Not counting chickens though - we'll see........
It'd be nice to know sooner rather than later though as i'm redundant from my current job on 31/07.First name Mister

Tell me about it ! I was made redundant in February and its driving me insane. Don't know where I went wrong in the first round of interviews, as the feedback I requested was very vague, and just said I scored 24 - so who knows what the pass score was
The interviews are pretty horrendous though don't you think? Even when you know the competencies and make notes, still gets pretty confusing !!
Not had interview for the AO post before though. got the competencies through, and they are similar to the EO ones, but more basic I think.
Hope we hear back soon. fingers crossed for you, and me this time. Really wanted the EO position for financial reasons, even though they are only temporary positions.0 -

The interview wasn't too bad IMO - up until we were given our consultation period i was involved in interviewing potential new staff so had an idea of the type of question that would be asked. My only concern is that i based too many of my answers around the same overall situation - just different aspects of it if you see what i mean.
Definitely fingers crossed all round though. As far as temporay postions - there's definitely a possibility of them being made permanentFirst name Mister

OMG ! What 'consultation period'. My interview consisted of them asking me 4 questions based on the competencies. At the end they asked if I had any questions, and that was it0 -

90 days consultation which i'm under with my current employer - leading to redundancy on 31/07.
I based some of my answers around experiences gained as part of this.
Don't panic - just breatheeverything will be fine i'm sure
