Do they send a letter through the post with the competencies or do you get told when you get to the interview (they did say we had to be there half an hour earlier than our interview time).

It should say on the job description for the vacancy.

I don't think they'll send you it in the post, so if you don't still have the details, you should try giving them a ring to find out.

I had interview last week for an EO vacancy. Results should be here in around 2 weeks (so they say !!). I now had another interview for AO early next week.

Has anyone had interviews for both positions and, if so, do the interviews vary much?

So I called up dwp today regarding IRC60076, only to be told that interviews are still on going!?! and should wait a fortnight to get an outcome - that would be over 6 weeks after the interview!

Judging from posts on a different thread, most people get a result after a couple of weeks and then, if successful, the waiting starts for a start date.. at this rate the recession will be over before starting.

Anyways, if they still are interviewing, it makes you wonder how many people have applied for this position!

I was interviewed for that one as well. You would think they could at least let us know if we'd been successful and start doing the checks.

Do you know if Manpower did the scoring of the interview or do they pass it to dwp to score? I did notice that at the interview, Manpower tried to write down everything you said for the answers (so many times i had to pause for them to catch up), I wondered for whose benefit that was? It would be a shame if dwp do the scoring cos it be would impossible to write down everything that was said at the interview.

Anyways you're right, it scandalous to have to wait so long to find out if you're successful or not.

Ok weird thing, ive just received by crb disclosure which was sent to me by dwp. I tried to called dwp to seek clarification but no one was answering the phone. Anyone know if its normal to carry out security checks before offering job?

From my interview with DWP I understood they do the CRB checks on successful applicants only so it looks like you might be in for some good news soon! Assuming you want the job that is...

Well I managed to get through to dwp this morning, and they said not to read too much into it, they don't know how that has happened and so it doesnt necessarily mean I am successful - I was also told that there has been a delay for some reason in processing results for the vacancy (IRC60076).. It's all alittle confusing to be told one day that interviews are still on going and then to be told theres been a mix up somewhere!

Hi, can anyone help me i applied for a job as AO and recieved voicemail to say i'd been invited to interview etc and that i'd be receiving an email with more info and list of documentation i need to bring but i havent received an email yet and the interview is on monday. I can't find a contact number does anyone have one or can anyone tell me what the email includes and if i really need it? The voicemail also said my interview would be for EO but i'd applied for AO is this normal??!
