Yeah, i also emailed CRB they said my certificate was sent to DWP yesterday.. ive been put off calling DWP though because alot of people on here have said they dont give info or they never pick up! lol, although if you got through then im gonna give it a go tomorrow.

Hello,
First time poster. So be gentle.
I have had a success letter for IRC62979 & have a problem that someone can, hopefully, answer.
How do they contact your referees? I have just found out that one of mine is off work long-term. His office will forward the letter to his home, if received by post. But if they email, no one can access his account, at present.
I've tried phoning the DWP but they do not seem to be answering calls.0 -

They usually do email the person. However if they can verify your employment history with HMRC (Revenue and Customs) they will not contact your referees. I have had checks done for two positions and they did not need to contact my referees.0 -
News on 62979.. i called earlier to find out about waiting lists & the lady told me that there is no waiting lists just a list based on what scores people got but that EVERYONE will be placed so it really doesn't matter.. hopefully December, if not January.. lets just hope she's not feeding me rubbish to shut me up lol.0

. I have had a look through but it seems they slightly change the questions every so often, so I just wanted to know what their latest version was.
Hi all,
can anybody give some ideas what are they asking at the interview for EO?0 -
My latest news is DWP recieved my completed CRB back on 23rd November, and it has now been mailed on to me.
They have also carried out the employment checks etc, so all OK.
Details have been passed to the hiring manager/department to contact me about start date etc, was told likely to be December.
Fingers crossed!
This is great news!!Do keep us posted.0 -

Well............
It happened quicker than i thought.
Got a call at 2pm today...I start on the 7th December!!
I am going to be based at the London City Jobcentre Plus (East London, Commercial Road)
Its now a 12 month contract, but was indicated that very likely to be extended and i can still apply for senior roles EO and above, but not 'sideways' moves...that's good news as have an EO interview on the 11th December!!
Great start to the weekend and fingers crossed to you all still waiting to hear!!!0 -

That was quick.I am happy for you, also shows that acheiving good scores means that you get the good jobs faster.
Is this your preferred location?
So you can go for the interviews that you already applied for but not for any new ones after joining.Am I getting it right?0
